Known as the "Island of Colors" thanks to its jewel-colored waters and building painted in vivid primary tones, the horseshoe-shaped island of Milos floats serenely in the Aegean Sea. It was here that the world-famous Venus de Milo statue was discovered. Though she now holds court at the Louvre, Milos has other beauties to admire. There are dozens of beaches, all different colors and all different combinations of sand, stone and shell. Explore the ancient theater, catacombs and windmills in Tripiti village, then cap off your day with a cinematic sunset.

Not great, but alright. You need to book and they want the tables back if you eat earlyish. Food is a bit better than average and by London standards quite reasonably priced. Fresh fish is expensive, Octopus is good and affordable. Beware the bread charges which are automatically added and brought. 6 Euros for 4 and we didn't even want it. Service not good, frantic, and fairly dismissive if you aren't eating expensive food. Nice setting though and away from the road. Probably one of the busiest restaurants in Pollonia.

Local Cuisine using products from Milos Island! The Meat comes from Our Flock|Herd, that lives in Halakas! Cheese made Traditionally to Our Cheese Making Area!
Food was excellent and the service was great as well. We enjoyed it so much that we actually ate here twice. The suckling pig was my favorite but the roasted lamb and goat were good as well. All the ingredients are locally sourced and the animals come from the family farm. Really really impressed by the value and quality of the food. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend to friends.

Right on the beach. Fresh local fish and seafood daily. Fresh vegetables from the garden. Extensive wine list. Excellent service & family run.
So pleasantly surprised to find this place and enjoy a tasty meal before they close for the winter! Ordered the chickpea salad and the octopus stifado and both were delicious! The stifado was a little on the sweet side but still a great combination of sweet and savory. They also brought us some tasty lemon mousse on the house after we finished our meal. All in all, highly recommend the place for the service, the food and the price. It’s the best meal I’ve had in Milos by far.

It serves a variety of dishes of Greek and international quisine. It shares a small part of an area with "yankos souvlaki" but these two have totally different management and operation. We kindly ask you to create such a profile, so the reviews concerning servicing souvlaki will be transferred under that enterprice's profile in trip advisor.
It was during the evening of our first day at Milos that we had dinner at this restaurant. The moment we decided to walk in, it was very crowded. The waiters, though, took our order quickly. We loved a salad from the menu, the Cycladic, with marinated tomatoes and feta cheese. It was flavorful as well as the pasta we tried next. The Mafia with a spicy taste was a good choice for people who like sausage on their pasta. I appreciated that there was tomato sauce but also white sauce paired with some herbs on my plate. I liked it a lot!

We were looking for authentic " traditional " Greek food and, based on some reviews we read, this place looked like a good option. We were right, everything we had was just what we expected and the moussaka was divine. We did not have a reservation but a very short wait allowed us to grab the perfect table with both a view of the sunset and the church. The restaurant is not " fancy " ( it is more like a " family " run taverna ) but it is definitely one of the best on the island.

welcome to ...mikros Apoplous, one of the most beautiful seafront ouzeries in milos. local homemade creations, great selections of seafood , fresh fish and more...
We loved our experience here, beautiful waterfront views and the food and service were impeccable. They were super transparent about food recs and told us which were local and which were frozen fish. AND we were treated like royalty a few days later when we were just walking past to say hello! We ate the cheese wrapped in filo with jam, fresh seafood and wonderful wine. Everything was lovely. HIGHLY recommend.

Restaurant that promotes the authentic Cycladic Cuisine in traditional and creative way...Offers a variety of local vegetables and meat of all kinds to combine with a nice selection of Greek wines.
A friend and I booked a cooking class at Alevromilos prior to our arrival in Milos, and we were not disappointed. We've done cooking classes in the past that could better be defined as cooking demonstrations, but not this class. We actually were prepping and...MoreChef is thanking you for your kind words and would like to tell you that you are NOT FORGOTTEN. ...Recipes are going to be send next week to your e mail....

Our restaurant located in an very old building with Catacombs, and in the summer time we have our tables at the traditional beautifull village square with sea view. You have great opportunity have your dinner or glass of vine with sunset. We have a Mediterranean cuisine, in which we brought some interesting improve, and we have good greek wines and beers. We have own farm, so vegetables, eggs, chikens and rabbits are ours, clean and healthy! So, we are waiting for you, our dear guests! If you boring and want something new, come! Here you'll find very different restaurant from all traditional greek taverns. Just try it! And who knows, maybe you'll back here many time more,as many other our guests!
The restaurant is located at the very small public square at the hills of Tripiti. Only a few tables with red cloth and candles. The setting is pittoresk and very romantic. From the square you have a uniquely view on the sunset. The whole place could be out of the film "Mama Mia"
The food is 100 % organic and most of the veggies are from their own farm at milos.
They serve only authentic Greek cuisine. Like the famous rabbit in dried orange sauce. (It is a Must try) or pork steak in caramel sauce. The wine list is not big but all wines are good choice. We tried nearly all!!
The service is very personal and friendly. This makes the stay there very comfortable and nice.
We come often to milos and like this place very much. The quality of the food was always very good. And the prices are very very moderate and reasonable.
For us it is the best restaurant at Milos. It can't be better.
Don't leave Milos without eating there one time.
