Originally named after the Archangel St Michael, it is the second-largest city in the Košice Region and the seat of the Michalovce District.

I come regularly for lunch menu. For 4,40€ you get water, soup, big salad and tasty vegetarian dish. You won't find better veggie lunch in town. Of course other dishes are also tasty but mainly from quality ingredients. Moreover professional staff and nice small place. Also recommended for special occasions.

I've reported this to Google which consistently brought up this option when searching for restaurants near the town square in Michalovce, and now reporting here.
The old building (if you back up to see it) appears to have been a charming option. The beer tent is still there inside the building. The small door/entrance had a published paper on it which of course I couldn't read. But the bottom line is this restaurant is closed. Unfortunate.

Myslím si že táto reštaurácia zaslúži pochvalu za svoju
kvalitu ktorú každodenne ponúka . Už som tu bol niekoľkokrát nielen sám ale aj so svojimi priateľmi musím konštatovať že má jedlo nikdy nesklamalo bolo stále kvalitne pripravenéj a čerstvé. Vrelo doporučujem aj pre ostatných.

Amazing food, amazing service for amazing prices!
Beautiful rustic restaurant with a wonderful and cozy atmosphere and a stunning crystal chandelier. Pleasantly surprised by the combination of traditional and modern elements. We had beef steak, salmon, traditional smoked duck with homemade potato pancakes and we also tasted the traditional Slovakian dishes- halusky and pirohy after the recommendation of the waiter. The food was deliciously flavoured and served with style. I recommend this restaurant, because of high quality, professional staff and amazing taste of food for affordable prices! The staff has no problem communicating in English Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant! Definitely will come back again

If you think crepes are small and sweet then you might just be wrong. They can aslo be salty and with meat and vegetables :) very nice place.

I went last month with some family and I must say we were all very satisfied of the food and service of this restaurant.The owner very good man always taking care that things go well.i definitely recommend this place for local people and of course for tourists who visit Michalovce.

We found this gem, and stuck to it! Freshly made baguettes and good smoothies made us come back five times in ten days. Highly recommended for lunch.

Steaks and meat are very good! Steaks are bit overpriced for this area, rest is cheap. Staff is not so friendly and a bit rude.
