Had dinner here...it was good not great...service nice. From other reviews I got the impression that the garden Terrace was the place with the view etc. but only spot open this night was streetside dining. I must say upon arrival I thought about leaving as this seemed very different from TA reviews. But we stayed...food was good and sort of watched the cars heading into town for the big soccer game on TV in the bars. Good but not very interesting.

The food is alright, the choice of wines is simple but well done, but the service is long, so long, very long, terribly long, incredibly long, that you're no more hungry when a very amateur waiter brings you your dish. So long!

Perfect place to celebrate lovers and Provence's lovers.
What a delicious suprise for my husband and me! We known this restaurant from friends who live in Luberon. We decided to visit it for the first time on the 14th february. I loved this typical atmosphere and I was completly seduced by the "Pavé de veau façon Rossini" and the chocolate cake homemade was so tasty !!!
The staff was very nice and polite.

Make Reservations before you go. We were not able to dine in the restaurant as it was closed on the evening we booked, but did so at the bistro on the beautiful property. We ate from choices on pre-fixe menu -meat, lamb and fish. Lovely outdoor, French country setting. Meals were beautifully presented with great quality ingredients.

Quaint restaurant in this little village...dining room full of antique clocks and very cosy as not able to eat outside.
Lovely family run atmosphere with attentive service and very good food well presented from an a la carte style menu.
Expect to pay about 70 euros for 2.
Well worth a detour if visiting this area of the Luberon.

We ate at this restaurant 3 out of 7 nights in the area. Despite the comments from other travellers, we had excellent service including a warm welcome from the owner each night. The staff dealt with a difficult situation when it poured with rain and guests had to. be reseated indoors very quickly.
The food is traditional and delicious and presentation is pleasing to the eye.
We recommend Le Recreation for a casual evening out. If weather permits, sit on the balcony and enjoy the evening light of Provence. We will be back

Wonderful Pizza, risotto, grilled fish. Wood fired oven. Friendly service. Best bistrot we ate at this trip!
We dined here on our final evening in Provence. We were seated outside in the square, with a view of the village, as well as the swallows diving as the sun set. Divine atmosphere on this beautiful summer night!
Everything we ordered was so good! Everyone was able to find a dish they loved (lots of non-pizza options). Good portions. Nice Italian wine options. Loved it! Reservations an absolute must since it is so tiny!

We live in the area nearby and struggle to afford to eat out in Provence very often! This is a really fair price for a set meal. The house wine served in 'pichets' is very acceptable. Great sauces too.
Arrive early at lunchtime as it is popular with local workers. The owners are very friendly.
Only one criticism-the entrecote steak on the a la carte was not very good..
It is really nice as you have the option of sitting in or out; and with the large glass doors you feel like you are outside..

A delightful "bistro" style atmosphere...warm and inviting with wonderful food. We had delicious steaks prepared perfectly and accompanied by a great bottle of red wine. We found the other diners to be friendly and equally as pleased with the "little bistro". The location is most convenient and easy to walk to if you are staying in Lourmarin, which we were.

A delightful find just outside Lourmarin.
Easy to find with ample parking.
Bamboo Thai is in a lovely setting and décor & ambience is peaceful and reflective of Thailand & Luberon.
Our meal was exactly as ordered with helpful recommendations & suggestions from our waiter
We have enjoyed travel & the food in Asia & were impressed with the authenticity of our meals in this gem of a restaurant.
