Ee-usk is a modern glass building sitting right by the water in the busy harbour of Oban.We believe in serving impeccably fresh local seafood cooked simply. We are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age for dinner.
This place is on the pier at Oban. It's modern and thankfully tartan-free. It's a seafood restaurant which sauces all its produce locally. My wife and I opted for the lobster, which was absolutely sublime: beautifully cooked and soft. My mate had one of the fish (can't remember which), and he said it too was delicious. We washed it down with a nice chilled bottle of Verdejo. Service was very efficient and friendly, particularly from Ola. Excellent restaurant!

Set in idyllic Oban on the North West coast of Scotland, Waterfront Restaurant offers sumptuously fresh fish and seafood in a cutesy boathouse-style setting. Whilst enjoying stunning views over Oban Bay, guests can sample fine local catches, delicious fish classics and an impressive world wine list.
We have been here before and really excited to return, had oysters in cream and Parmesan which are 5 stars delicious....then fish and chips. It is hard to find a place that deserves 5 stars but this does .........can’t wait to return brilliant restaurant recommebt this to any one in Oban.

Kilmartin Museum Cafe is open every day from 10 - 5 from March to end October and 11 - 4 during November and December. We close from Christmas until the beginning of March each year. The cafe provides lunches, cakes, teas and coffees. Wherever possible, our delicious and wholesome food is prepared on the premises and cooked to order. We cater for special diets on request and there are always vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on offer. The cafe is on two levels, upstairs in the barn and downstairs in the green oak conservatory with views across Kilmartin Glen. We have wi-fi and daily papers so you can always keep in touch.
Visited Kilmartin Museum recently - the Café is comfortable and has a lovely outlook over Kilmartin Glen. The young staff really do need to be given the opportunity of some training in customer service. It costs nothing to greet customers with a friendly smile and a welcome, rather than a dreary indifference!

Inver is a modern Scottish restaurant with rooms in a stunning location on the shores of Loch Fyne. AA Scottish Restaurant of the Year 2016/17 Sunday Times Top 100 UK Restaurants - Scotland/NI Regional Winner
We reserved a table, based on the reviews on TA and other sites, and arrived at dusk - so didn't get the full benefit of the stunning location. The ethos is a small menu, based on what can be purchased locally/seasonally, and we were both able to find something we liked. Bar choices are limited which is a small -, but our food was well presented and cooked and the staff friendly and attentive. Prices reflect the premium they put on local sourcing, so probably not for everyone.

We could write a good review every time we visit, probably weekly. It makes the weekly food shopping tolerable whether we lunch before or after. This Thursday lunch was as enjoyable as ever. For me, Richard's Cullen Skink cannot be surpassed and then followed up by mussels to die for. Good healthy eating with a glass of good red wine. You gourmet eaters might not approve but it's red for me! My wife had the Haddock and Chips. A generous portion, I'm glad to say, as I was rewarded with the last bit of fish that madam couldn't finish. As we've mentioned before the staff are so well trained and Nicola has a midas touch when picking staff. We should mention that Nicola is pretty good herself as front of house. It's a must visit if in Oban.

I think they play on the fact this hotel is old as all the rooms decor is ancient and overpriced. Food and drinks choice is excellent but a bit pricey and staff are all well trained to get as much of your money as possible. Hated that in the main bar area all they were interested was keeping reserved for couples coming in at all times of the night meaning if you only wanted a drink and listen to the entertainment standing at the bar is ur only option.

Seafood Restaurant And Take-away Offering A Wide Variety Of Local Sustainable Fish And Shellfish As Well As Traditional Meals.
There are a lot of fish and chips in Oban but the Oban Fish and Chip Shop is the best. We had their basic haddock and chips plate along with a pot of mussels as an appetizer. The food was very fresh, speedily prepared, and excellent to eat! .

We stayed at the Ranald Hotel which is next door to the Lorne bar so popped in for a drink on the both nights we stayed. Great wee boozer with friendly staff, lovely locals and reasonably priced drinks.

The best waffles I have ever had. Delicious with ice cream and strawberries. Tea also delicious and love the little milk bottles. My daughter had the deluxe hot chocolate. It was like a meal she loved it. Lovely attentive staff. Garden centre sparse at this time of year but can see it being beautiful venue from springtime.

We are a friendly wee place, meet for proper coffee, homemade cakes and yummy lunches! Lunch served from 12-4. Gluten free and vegan options available as standard.
We had an excellent dinner at the Smiddy on a Friday night. There was a very welcoming atmosphere and although busy, it was still relaxing. The food itself was excellent and very well presented. The staff were very helpful and efficient. There was a real mix of customers from a group of ladies to couples and families. It was a bit of a find in Lochgilphead and to be recommended.
