Liapades (Greek: Λιαπάδες) is a medium-sized village located on the northwest side of Corfu, 4 km (2 miles) away from Palaiokastritsa. It has a quiet, agriculture-based economy during the winter. In the summer, the local industry mostly relies on the tourist trade, although the place is by no means mainstream. Liapades is situated on the sides of Kourkouli mountain, and spread right up to the North Valley (Πάνω Λιβάδι in Greek).

Thursday is Greek night at The Cricketer & it's a fun & lively affair. We had many better food experiences during our week in Liapades but for atmosphere, environment & a bit of knee slapping entertainment I would recommend it on this particular night. The singer was good & the traditionally clad folk dancers got everyone going. Sadly no plate smashing these days! It's a very nice setting with an array of outdoor tables sheltered by trees. The menu is huge & offers the usual array of Taverna staples. Their bruschetta special starter is utterly delicious but our mains were so so. Service was quick & friendly despite being packed & the 'landlady' particularly warm & sincere.

We walked the 3 km uphill from Agios Georgios intending to visit this place, it having been recommended. Great place for a simple snack ( toastie) and cold beer. With complimentary water and fruit desert and a very warm welcome from the proprietor Jimmy this proved to be an excellent choice. The obligatory viewing of "For Your Eyes Only" with expert commentary from Mrs Jimmy is well worth it. A very enjoyable lunch time

We enjoyed a super enjoyable and delicious home cooked family meal at Aspros Taverna. They are known for the Mousakas. A must. We were treated like family. You can tell that they take pride is their restaurant and are genuine in wanting you to enjoy your visit. This is a place that locals go out to eat at.
Prices are so very reasonable.

The portion sizes are enormous - beware! But the food is lovely, meat and chips really but done very nicely. Cool vibe with them serving the food in paper bags. Really caring staff and just a very lovely restaurant in general. Book ahead as they are often busy!

At Pagoi, a peaceful and traditional village situated in the Northern Corfu, you can find an old, traditional coffee shop "kafenio", which goes against the globalisation and the foreign way of living. Our customers, locals and foreigners, enjoy their coffee at our cosy, old, traditional kafenio. It is the kafenio "Romeos" owned by the family Harilaos Romeos. If you ever visit our village, we'll be more than happy to serve you Matoula's sweets with your morning coffee and meze with your evening ouzo or wine.If you would like traditional food lunch or dinner we would love to serve you.
We were on Corfu for 3 weeks, and sadly we discovered this culinary paradise a little late. Still we managed to eat there 6 times, and I could not tell you which visit we loved most since every time, if lunch our dinner, was sensational....MoreΕυχαριστουμε πολυ για τα καλα σας λογια και για το αστερι Michelin.VIELEN DANK UND GUTE JAHRE.

Looks like a typical snack bar menu but the food is awesome. Home grown veg, hand made burgers with all the trimmings. And quite possibly the best home made chips ever. Friendly and efficient service. Excellent value for money. Well worth a visit.

On the hill opposite tourist office in Liapades. Difficult to park anywhere but try it's well worth it.
Really friendly service and good fresh cooked food.
Mixed staters a pleasure to behold, a huge selection for €11.00.
Mussels in tomato ouzo and garlic divine and Sofrito gorgeous.
Well done and well deserved 5 stars..

Lured by the location, but unfortunately quite a disappointment.
Service was kind and friendly, but unfortunately slowest in ten days in Corfu. French fries were frozen, the tzatziki was a little bit sour and had a funny taste. They did not have tirokafteri and the cheese saganaki was only average and a little oily.
The main courses also average - the musaka looked more like a stew, lamb chops a little chewy, while the portions have been bellow average for greek standards.

At Costas steak house we offer top quality meats cooked on our charcoal grill, rare products coming from our garden straight on to your plate &a delightful service from our family team.A peaceful beer garden under an ivy tree that truthfully gives you the feeling you are in a small Greek village.
Having rented self catering accommodation in Liapades for a couple of weeks and being a lazy person and not too fond of or good at cooking, I had ample opportunities to check out several of the local restaurants for my evening meals and Costa's turned out to be the best, #1!
I can honestly say that my ribeye steak was probably one of the best I have ever eaten; tender, succulent and cooked to perfection, it makes me salivate just to think about it - sorry, too much information! For me, it was only a few hundred yards walk to get there but it's worth a considerably longer journey to pay a visit.
The restaurant Seating area is comfortable, tables well spaced and in sight and sound of the cooking magic going on on the huge charcoal bed. The charming, attentive and friendly waitress just made the event a highly enjoyable experience.
