The only reason I haven't given this restaurant a 5 star rating is because I save those for the truly extraordinary culinary experience. However, this was a perfect lunch. Friendly waiter who was more than happy to speak in English (thank you!). The portion of moules was massive. I have never eaten so much moules in my life! Excellent lunch and beer in a beautiful seaside garden cafe, with zen decor, overlooking the sea and the riviera hills. So beautiful. Nice and shaded from the sun. Definitely worth going there! Parking just across the road is free.

Visited on Tues 20th June in a group of 8. We ate there last year and it was great. Sound track and service were spot on. This time it was disappointing. We were crammed in one corner with other diners and service was very slow. The lobster meal came out a long time after the other 7 meals, the requested mustard didn't turn up at all. We won't be booking next year...

It was not full moon, but a saturday evening in september. We had a reservation at 21.45pm. We had to wait 40 min for a table and half an hour more until they took our orders. The place is nice, the prices ok and the food depending of what you take. The brasilian stuff was very good, the tapas just forget. The music of a life group nice but a little bit loud when you are sitting to close. As there are a lot of nice restaurants in the region we will not go back. The menu is too big. They shoild concentrate in what they know and can. Mixture of brasilian, spanish and french is really strange. When we left we were no in a good mood....

Le restaurant vous accueille à l’année depuis 1991 en vous proposant uniquement des produits frais élaborés et cuisinés sur place.
we have been here many times and as ever the service was first class, very welcoming and not at all pushy. The menu initially looks a little limited and different but we all had fantastic meals, really top quality cooking and clean plates all round.
They accommodated our 12 year old son by cooking him a plate of pasta as he didn't like the menu. The Deserts were fabulous. I had the cafe gourmand which was superb. Great wine as well, all in all another great meal here with very inventive and different cuisine which never disappoints.

Visited last night as part of our Minimoon after getting married last week. Our hotel owners recommended this place to us ( hotel review to follow ) as they know the owner. Have to say a very good recommendation, three very good courses and a bottle of wine. Generous portion sizes, very good quality produce and a nice atmosphere. Not in the best position and could be missed. A lovely meat pasta dish to start ( watch out for the garlick ! ) I had the lamb for main, super ! And my wife had the scallops very large and very tasty. We also had the choc fondant which was lovely, not sure but I think the cream was from a can( the only poor point ) overall a good experience and would gladly return.

This is a little hidden gem, it does not stand on ceremony, but delivers in good food and service. Great portions of smoked salmon for starters, the pate de foie gras was amazing, great steaks and my favourite il' flotante didn't disappoint, neither did my wife's tiramisu. Its one of our dependables when we want a good meal and not pay extortionate prices. The staff are always pleasant and the owner oversees the whole operation to ensure quality and friendliness!

This area is characterised by numerous Ok restaurants, many are pizzerias and few excel. So if you are looking for something relatively traditional, providing good food at moderate prices this might be for you.
The first major plus is that this is a most welcome completely smoking free restaurant, a rarity on the coast. There is no pretence that because many of the windows are open that this constitutes an open area. For this reason I have given it a 4 rather than 3 star.
We were given a most hospitable welcome and not given the table by the door even though we were the first ones in unlike described in one of the previous reviews. This is the power of Tripadvisor perhaps?
Being predominantly a fish eater I am disappointed at the extent to which fish restaurants have almost all given up providing fresh fish in order to retain an extensive menu. As is typical in France previously frozen fish products were not indicated on the menu, however the waitress answered without defensiveness what was and wasn't frozen. This greatly guided our choices.
Starters of Foie Gras were good, the main dish of fish stew was good, duck brochette perhaps not so good.
The house wine was very acceptable and significantly kept the bill down compared to the bottled offerings.
We would go again.

This restaurant is probably Les Issambres' most centrally located and one of the best dining options in town. It's part of Le Provençal Hotel but the TA listing for the hotel doesn't mention this restaurant. Since the restaurant can is well-used by non-residents, I believe it merits it's on TA entry.
We ate here recently, their food is very good, both for quality and value, it was recommended to us, and it delivered, if your in this area, its well worth giving it a try, we certainly were happy with our food and service too.

Always a favourite of ours. Location is perfect, right on the beach!
Food is good and sometimes excellent and the restaurant itself is a nice place to be. Staff are more than accommodating with the grown ups and the children.
Sun beds for hire as well so you can enjoy a whole day of sun, sea, sand and Eric's hospitality.
Until next time!

Not much to look at from the road side but the quality of welcome service and food can not be understated. Lovely meal, prompt efficient service from genuinely nice people. Prices not high for the region, most mains between EUR15-22.
