Attentive server. Clean and courteous service. The grouper with carrots was excellent. The lobster price fix was good- not like a Maine lobster but good. The lobster ravioli was tasty, imaginative and the presentation reminded me of pho. It would be helpful if the menu was in English too.

We ate here for lunch the last day we were in Ste. Anne. It was the best meal that we had and were sorry we weren't able to come back. Most places have a decent main meat/fish component but the appetizers, side dishes, etc. are mediocre. Not at this place. They brought bread with a bit of a fishy, delicious butter soon after we sad down. The avocado/shrimp salad was also delicious. I had the shrimp in coconut sauce and they were large and fresh. The prices here are not higher than the other places we went to in downtown Ste. Anne; actually that is one of the things we found a bit odd in Martinique, prices didn't seem to vary much from restaurant to restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful even when we told her that we (by that I mean my boyfriend) had forgot to bring enough money so we had to keep everything under the 40 euros I brought with me.

The "fresh grilled fish" was warmed up in the micro wave, the meat was smelling rotten. I honestly can't remember the last time someone served me food of that low quality.

The toucan is a friendly restaurant. While eating your meal, you will be rafraichi by sprays. Quality, kindness and speed of the service(department) are the priorities of this restaurant. And for any cheerfulness of your part, a small old rum will be offered
We had read so many excellent reviews of this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. I called the evening before and spoke with one of the very charming owners. My french is limited and she informed me that her english was also not the best. As an American you realize that you will be completely at ease here. My husband and I both enjoyed the plat du jour, which was swordfish, our favorite! It was very well prepared and just the right proportion. Included was an appetizer and a beverage. The price of the meal was very reasonable, but beyond that the friendly atmosphere and attention of the hostess made this restaurant our favorite. I would definitely return again for meal and wish we had had more time to enjoy the Francois area. Really a lovely place!

....this place does surprisingly good food! The setting of Anse Michele is gorgeous (we went there twice during our week on island) and Le Cocotier is an excellent option if you'd like a break from the sun & surf for a very nice lunch. Very small operation that turns out great looking and tasting lunches and a selection of crepes.
Only one person speaks English, so be aware of that, but we don't speak French and it wasn't much of a problem. And you'll need a reservation - yes, really - but if you get there mid-to-late morning, you should be fine. Just go up when you get there and pick a time to come back and put your order in.

Service: perfect
Food: even better than the service.
I had the ribs (silly of me to have meat 25 meters from the sea...), my wife and the other guests had the fish ("dorade"), and both dishes were excellent. My cousin had the accras, and they were apparently excellent. A place to visit!!!!!

Nice traditional place direct on the beach with wooden chairs and tables, not 'traditional plastic'.
Food is good and much less expensive as in neighboured fancy stores. 0,5 l local beer for 2,5 EUR! I tried chicken and shrimps and it was tasty.
Friendly stuff.
Enjoy the view of the beach!

I cannot fault the meal we ate at K`Bana.........a decent menu choice, well presented and fairly priced. However, I would advise booking earlier rather than later in the evening. We ate at 19.30...........the two waitresses worked absolutely flat out,and most competently although by the end of our meal ,they appeared to be just starting to fail to cope with customer demands from the full restaurant. (maybe one extra member of staff could be employed?)

djembe, real homemade spice rhum! what else? be in the heart of a very popular site. Don Carlo is a must to hear real authentic locals having fun playing crasy rythm while you sip the real stuff. ask the bartender for his own spiced drink, but do not drive after, lol
have a great time but be safe
