I come here since more than 30 years, so my report is perhaps more reliable than others. They have reinvented themselves several times, always an obvious improvement. Food clearly very good, with the perhaps most customer friendly wine list I know. Prices are paradise. My choice in Lazise, but did not yet go to Casa Mia.

Despite the weather, the dining area was welcoming and heated. Friendly reception on entry and attentive service throughout. Good choice of starters and first and second dishes to suit most palates. The food eaten was ample and tasty, the only minor surprise being that the salmon trout was served without having been boned (unlike all other establishments visited). Price slightly on the high side of medium compared with competitors but overall a satisfying dining experience.

Everything was very good - friendly and attentive service, the food (large succulent fish portions) and definitely the overall ambiance. The buffet offered cold vegetables (perhaps not to every one's liking) but no complaints at all. Standard Italian menu desserts with the addition of a superb apple strudel. Most enjoyable - just a tick away from Excellent.

Food was great, we only stayed for mains and desserts as we were there on the night of the greasy pole so wanted to catch a glimpse. Great atmosphere inside and felt as if that was where the locals dined. The food was spectacular and beautifully presented. It was not to excessively priced - you paid for what you got.

Home-made pasta, local food professionally prepared, good table wine and corteous service make this place a must-try. Bigoli (large home-made spaghetti) with sardines is really excellent; then an array of pasta dishes and main courses contribute to a really and surprisingly eating experience.

Visited for a wedding and was hugely impressed by the food, service and ambience of the restaurant. Set in a quaint courtyard area with outdoor Seating it epitomises what you would expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. The menu is varied and interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed each of the courses I ate. Highly recommended!

Three of us, all adults, thoroughly enjoyed the evenings entertainment here, something out of the ordinary and fairly easy to follow as the commentary was translated into several languages most of the time. The food was hot tasty and lots of it and there was a choice of drinks. Great fun cheering on your knight and making as much noise as you can bashing things together. Would happily go again although it was a bit pricey.

Everything about this meal was excellent. The chef has an obvious passion for food, turning good food into something a bit special.it may not be fine dining, but it good homely food, if a bit too much of a good thing. The produce was local, with wine coming from a nearby vineyard. The host spoke perfect English and took us through some of the dishes, making our choice difficult, so much so we booked to go back the following evening. Would I recommend this restaurant, too right I would. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We booked a table at Cardellino (recommended). Settled down in the garden room with a warm typical Italian interior followed by a enthusiastic waiter. Wow a good start. After the menu and wines (great selection) were explained we began a culinary experience. And at the end we could say this was Italian dining at its best. Atmosphere, staff and the food were fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We ate here once five years ago while visiting Lazise, and were delighted to find that Boticelli's has maintained its high quality. The service is very correct and prompt (I can't agree with other reviews that found it unfriendly); the food is just real Italian food of the best, making use of local recipes and ingredients. The recommend bottle of wine went perfectly with the meal. I think there's no real reason to eat anywhere else in Lazise.
