Just lovely well-cooked good value modern Scottish food in an unexpected setting
Had a great lunch here with my mum. The pate was delicious as always and the braised rump was so tender. Portion sizes were great and fantastic value at £7.95 for two courses. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Dropped in at short notice today and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Show to a nice table and our drinks order taken. Staff were helpful and were happy to discuss items on the Sunday Lunch Menu.
My starter of mixed fish was amazing, Smoked Salmon, Gravadlax, Mackeral, Fish Pate and Tempura Prawns.
I chose the Roast (Turkey) with all the trimmings and it was really good. The large Yorkshire could have done with a small jug of gravy just to wet a little. Otherwise an excellent meal.
The portions are generous and we had no room for dessert.
Reasonably priced. A nice Lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, with attentive staff.
Recommend you visit.

We called here on our way to Loch Lomond for lunch. We hadn't booked as we hadn't been able to get through by telephone. Nevertheless they were happy to seat the 7 of us in the back dining room as the bar was full. The...MoreThank you for taking the time to give us a lovely review Lins. The Snapper is one of our favourite dishes. We might even share our recipe with you next time your in!

Had the early evening menu here with friends and was not disappointed. Welcome was warm, food was lovely, service, as always, was great. We all enjoyed the various dishes served to our table and the value for money is great. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Lanarkshire, but, it's quite small, so booking is a must. Only suggestion would be for them to open a bit earlier, 5.30pm is a little late if travelling into town for a show, so we end up in town to eat more often than not, which is a shame. Will still go here as often as possible though. Well worth a visit if you haven't been.

We were here for dinner, having been here several times before. The food was very good and there is a good atmosphere. There is plenty of choices, although we both chose chicken and mushrooms with boiled rice and had soft drinks. Our total bill was 27 pounds 30. This was for the one course each but the portion sizes were good.

I was very impressed by the lunch menu at Leonardo’s. I had mussels in white wine and sea bass which came in a delicious sauce with a platter of very good vegetables. The 2 course menu is only £8.95 which, given the quality of the food, was excellent value. Service was very friendly and professional.

the music room sits in front of the church opposite super snacks in Larkhall
Nipped in for a wee meal when in the area. Chicken Balmoral, steak pie and a kids macaroni. Also had prawn cocktail and battered mushrooms for starters. Friendly staff and no complaints about the food. Have been here before and will be back again.

.
Ate there earlier this evening and very disappointed with our main courses. Caledonian Chicken was like eating half cooked turnip. The chicken breast was to thick and could have been flattened to allow it to cook properly. My wife's main course was Chicken Milanaisse which again was to thick and unappetising I also found the area we were seated in overcrowded.

Dining at a very quiet 5pm we were treated like kings. Waiter (manager?) well informed and helpful about wine (and I’d strongly recommend the delicious valpolicella del ripasso!), food delicious tho we only had mains so can’t comment on starters or puds. One of the Party said his veal Milanese was the best he’d had outside Italy. Service just the right note - helpful & chatty without being overbearing. We will certainly return.
