Kremnica ( pronunciation (help·info); German: Kremnitz, Hungarian: Körmöcbánya) is a town in central Slovakia. It has some 5,700 inhabitants. The well-preserved medieval town built above important gold mines is the site of the oldest still-working mint in the world.

Very pleasantly surprised, honestly did not expect that level of service and food quality in the middle of the Forests. The location is a bit away of the city happenings, but the surroundings, fresh air and pleasant atmosphere pays off. The food is high level, very delicios, I would not make a better picant tripe soup myself, just made to my taste!!! Excellent second dish, among others slow roast pork neck with sour cabbage dumplings (yes, yummy, despite of the awkward desription), simply unforgettable well- and diferently prepared salmon fillet, not to forget the duck leg with cabbage. And last but not least, by ordering espresso coffee you get it as it should be - a ristretto with additional boiling water aside to make it to your taste of espresso or americano. Hey, coffee guys in posh restaurants, you have a chance to learn something. It is a definitelly well managed place. Will love to come again.

Fast and kind service, excellent cuisine. Combination of deer steak and nut gnocchi and onion on wine was interesting combination the taste was delicious. Steak was grilled just right.

We (2 couples) use the accommodation of the same owner and like the place.
We eat dinner and this was a great choice. The food was tasty and huge dishes. We like the Piza, the schnitzel, and the pork ribs. The Beer was great and the service was over expected.

Napíšem Vám príbeh ktorý som so synom zažil na výlete do Kremnice. Ubytovali sme sa v hoteli Golfer*** v ktorom je táto reštaurácia. Prvé prijemne prekvapenie bolo na recepcii, kde sme dostali jedálny lístok a otázku, na ktorú hodinu si želáme večeru. Keďže si mladý muž (10r) želal steak, mal si vybrať ako pripravený.
Na večeru sme prišli na 19:00 a za zopár sekúnd z kuchyne vyšiel sympaticky pán s ospravedlnením, že prosí o trpezlivosť take 2-3minuty, pripravuje nám to čerstvé.
Samozrejme že sme radi počkali. Keď sme jedli, tak pán kuchár opäť vyšiel a spýtal sa, či je všetko v poriadku. Bol taký milý a srdečný, pustili sme sa do debaty. Dozvedeli sme sa že je aj spolumajiteľ hotela. Porozprával aj recepty a tipy na
Prípravu jedla. Cítili sme sa ako na návšteve u rodiny.
Keďže okrem výborného jedla a dezertu sme sa aj výborne cítili, hľadali sme spôsob ako zažiť večeru ešte raz. No na druhý deň sme Mali byt už na Liptove. Pán kuchár navrhol: no zajtra robí kolega a večere sú od 19:00, ale keď Vám chuti, prídem Vám ja uvariť už na 18:00 aby ste nemali stres.
Tento výnimočný zážitok nás utvrdil o nielen profesionalite ale aj o pohostinstve. Tak sme sa rozhodli zostať ešte jednu noc aj za cenu storno poplatku na Liptove. Neľutujeme.
Ďakujeme touto cestou ešte raz.
