Not perfect but still wonderful!
We had a very nice evening at this gourmet restaurant.
The service was nice, the lady tried real hard to explain things in english and to make our dinner as perfect as possible.
I love the ambiance. And I adore the dessert. Ok, Im pretty impressed for the things we got and the money we spent on it.
The location isnt as center as I expected but still acceptable as its still withing walking distance from the towncenter.

Three to five times a year, we visit family and friends; a meal and a drink at “The Mosquito” are each time a must.
Nice friendly service, very respectable choice of wines and beers, tasty and well prepared meals and most of the time decent people to have really interesting conversations.
An insider tip: Try their “notenwijn”. It is the only place I know that serve it from the barrel!

We arrived quite late on a Sunday night, after the kitchen had closed at a nearby restaurant but that was no problem at Vriendshap. We were tempted by the desserts so just had starters and no mains in order to make sure we had room....MoreThank you so much for your review. Hope to see you again. Kind regards Connie

Excellent interesting menu with fresh ingredients. Wine matching is also offered. Enjoy the amuse bouche in the rear court by the setting sun. Not a large restaurant so best to book in advance. I particularly liked the rubarb dessert. Great to celebrate a special occasion.

This former prison is located at the mound of the Scheldt and many ships and pilot boats can be seen passing here. The Seating here is in a glass extension of the historic prison tower. A unique spot with wide views.
The service is a bit slow and the food is not bad but unremarkable.
We will be back because of the views.

We have had pizza's here, and that were just good pizza's, enough filling, good taste but not really special, we did not get the Italian feeling. The starter with cooked snails was served without bread, when we asked, we got the comment: we never serve the snails with bread but due to our reamark we did get some bread to it (and they did not charge us extra for the bread). The pricing for the food is very good in relation to the quality.

We had dinner with friends here. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Will be back very soon when we are again in Holland

Very pleasant choice. Surprise menu was superb, staff were so pleasant always speaking English without prompt. Highly recommended.

High Tea
The weather was excellent which allowed us to sit outside on the boat. Lovely.
The service was ok, sometimes a little slow but as it was busy acceptable.
The pies are sooooo good. Loved the carrot cake!
Also loved the green smoothie (spinach) and the unlimited coffee and tea offered at €3.50.
Only things that needs a little improvement are the bagels. They were a little lackluster and only the cheese/chutney one convinced us. We tried all of them ;-)

Strandpavillion in den Dünen von Vlissingen direkt am Meer mit Blick auf viele Schiffe
A very nice and pleasant stop during a long walk on the beautiful Beaches of the Vlissingen area. The atmosphere is warm, service is smiling and helpful and the food is really great. I would recommend the salads and the burgers that are outstanding.
