Lots on the menu, very good quality, service is a little austere but very well intentioned. Food is very good and has some different itels on the menu to many places.

Booked in advance for lunch which was good as it is extremely busy! Lively atmosphere, traditional decor, delicious Austrian style food, prices not unreasonable. Slide down to the toilets is fun, and the wine list is huge!

I only regret not coming here during prior trips to Lech. We went to S'Achtele twice over the week for dinner, walking there both times. The Amouse Bouche is really excellent. I can highly recommend the VEAL CUTLET. My wife enjoyed her lamb - twice! The wine selection is dominated by Austrian offerings...worth exploring while in Lech. The service is genuine and friendly and I really liked the atmosphere : No big windows, but nice lighting. The restaurant is not too big, so do reserve!

Good food is difficult to find when you are in a foreigner from the Southern Hemisphere in a small Alpine village. Caroline from Hotel Garni Lavendel (20 meters away) recommended this place (pity we only asked on day 3!!). Wow. It is a memorable restaurant. So please do not waste your time and efforts looking elsewhere. This is the place with a fantastic menu and good wines. There are a zillion returning local and international customers that tell us that this is the No. 1 spot they come back to in Lech, year after year.
It is nice to know that Austrian food tastes this good.

This restaurant was virtually full minutes after it opened at 7pm, we were lucky to get a seat at the bar, the rest of this large restaurant was reserved. Its an open plan building with tables all round the sides, predominantly families but a few...MoreThank you!

I have stayed at the hotel Mondschein with my girlfriend, but we also wanted to try the a-la-carte in the restaurant. We enjoyed every bite of it. We had a very good lunch after skiing with typical Austrian dishes like Kasespatzle and Blutwurst. The dinner was excellent, we wanted a quiet corner for a romantic dining and the owner made it all possible. The wine selection was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant and the hotel also. Surely, we are coming back.

Our yearly visit to Lech and to Hus #8. This time we had the meat and prawns fondue and as expected it was excellent. The broth served out of the fondue pot at the end with added cherry liquor was outstanding.
Looking forward to our next time here.

Wonderful morning of skiing - popped in to this restaurant for a lunch snack ( 10 of us so a strong possibility for a large bill at the end)
When we (finally) managed to find a table (after already been spoken to very rudely by the waiter for standing in his way-please note limited choice in Stuben otherwise we would of left at this point) it took ages for the waiter to take our order for drinks, even longer to take our order for food and a significant amount of "huffing and puffing" and arrogant behaviour from the waiter throughout!
I will say that all of the food was very nice so no complaints with that .
We paid the bill and chose not to give a tip- we also told the waiter that the service was horrendous!
We did not visit again and other restaurants benefitted from our large bills and tips for the rest of the week!

The best lunch menu we have found in Stuben (and one of the best in the Arlberg), and the view from the large Terrace is stunning. Good service, but worth getting there before 12.30 if you want a table outside when it is sunny.
