Having dined a few times, I can say that the consistency of the quality, presentation and taste is why I love returning again and again. Jacks Coastguard Restaurant is a landmark building overlooking Rossbeigh and Inch Peninsula in the seaside village of Cromane between Kilorglin & Glenbeigh on the Ring of Kerry route. Nestled against the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy panoramic sea and mountain views in one of Kerrys Top Restaurants recently named Best Seafood Restaurant in Ireland by well respected foodie Georgina Campbell as well as listings with Bridgestone & Michelin Guides. The Station Bar and Coastguard Restaurant successfully combine old world charm with modern elegance.Guests can linger over a drink in the bustling Station Bar or enjoy the soft tones of the piano through the restaurant by our resident pianist JP Murphy. Only the finest and freshest of seafood is used to create dishes that would rival the most discerning of palate. Signature dishes such a Cromane Mussels, Tiger Prawns or perfectly seared Scallops should not be missed. For the unwilling seafood diner, our succulent Fillet of Beef should suffice nicely.
We had a big even organized in Jacks and was simply fabulous! Brian , the owner, was such a nice and friendly guy! Very easy to do business with and also his attention to detail, to delivering a great service was superb! I am still amazed how they managed to take out so many steaks so quickly and each perfectly cooked to order! One of my favorite restaurants without doubt! Thank you again guys!

Nick's Restaurant is located in the beautiful town of Killorglin which is in the heart of Co. Kerry and stands on a hill to the south of Castlemaine Harbour headwaters, on the River Laune.
Visited twice with business colleagues. Nice friendly staff, my colleagues very much enjoyed the seafood Mornay. Being a vegetarian I asked if I could have something other than the veg curry offered, which did not appeal to me, and they accommodated my request. We passed a very enjoyable evening.
It's a popular spot. The piano is on the whole pleasant and probably popular with visitors to Ireland.

We arrived just on opening without a booking but were made most welcome. The meal was very good, all the more as the sous chef was ill and not in, the service was superb.

Never fails to deliver, places come and go, but the Banconi is refreshingly good, year in , year out. Book ahead so you won't be disappointed. Sea food dishes are all excellent. The ocal Kerry Seafood & Shellfish Plate is to die for , but the chowder is excellent too.But , oh my, the Shank of Kerry Lamb

A group of us went here for dinner last night and it was lovely. Nearly all of us (8 of 13) got the chicken hibernian - a breaded chicken breast served with a mushroom, pepper and onion sauce. It was delicious. I got it with chips and salad. Unlike most places that give you a few lettuce leaves topped with a slice of tomato and onion, the salad was lovely - some pasta, a bit of potato salad and some green salad. There was loads of food and it only cost €11.50. I thought that was great value. I had the baileys and chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert which was very nice too. Others had the apple crumble (tasty) and the lemon meringue pie (not so good). The coffee wasn't great but of everything across the meal to be poor its ok if its the coffee. Overall it was good food with good value.

The baked goods here are delicious (we got a summer fruit and custard pie). They have a wide variety of drinks, deli and bakery foods, as well as some other provisions (we even got a Wonka Bar!). Very friendly and a great find!

Stopped in for a coffee this morning. Very friendly service and a very good cappuccino. We did not eat but will plant to next time. The food looked very fresh and tasty. The prices were good. Complete Irish breakfast for 8€ including coffee. Clean, free public bathrooms just outside the cafe door.

Carrig's Lakeside Restaurant where a wonderful dining experience awaits you. You will choose from a varied & interesting dinner menu. The restaurant brings you the best Kerry has to offer, meat and vegetables are sourced locally and fresh fish caught in the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Tastes are creatively blended and dishes delicately cooked with care, to excite your palate and provide a memorable dining experience. Our culinary team are highly skilled crafts-people who have won many awards and the restaurant has been critically acclaimed internationally. The cooking style is modern Irish and European with a French Country House influence.
A little hideaway on the tranquil shores of Caragh Lake in the beautiful Kingdom of Kerry. Olde Worlde comfort & charm & excellent host & staff. A place to get away from it all and just relax and let life pass by uninterrupted. Very poor mobile phone or wi-fi coverage here so you really can unwind and revert back to a leisurely read of the daily papers to keep abreast of outside happenings. One TV in the place which I never noted to switched on. Be sure to try and get a lake view room as the dawn and dusk can be spectacular as can the reflective moon & stars if its a clear night.
Dining room is a gourmets delight for breakfast and dinner.

Lovely atmosphere and good decor. Clean tables. We ordered club Sandwich and the pulled pork bap. Very refreshing smoothie ... club Sandwich was a nightmare to eat as the bread was too small for the contents so majority fell out all over the plate so was eaten separately which defeats the point of a club Sandwich. Chips very bitty , felt like the end scrapes so mine was actually awful and not worth the money. My partner enjoyed his side salad and his pulled port bap. Again he never ate his chips due to scraps and his were cold. Shame really. Cost 30 euros
