A modern city in the south of Taiwan, Kaohsiung shifts from ancient to contemporary culture with ease. Don't miss the breathtaking Fo Guang Shan monastery and its hall of giant Buddhas. Dream Mall, the largest shopping mall in Taiwan, has a Ferris wheel on the roof. Drive to Kenting National Park for beautiful landscapes.

Excellent fare. Excellent service. Presentation of the meal is 5-star, and all four of our meals were exceptional.
Going in understanding Taiwan culture will make the meal most enjoyable: if you want your red wine at room temperature, ask ahead. (I missed that, but simply asking about the wine temperature, and then received complimentary room temperature pours all meal.) The default is a set menu, but if you search out the fine print on the menu, you can order a la carte. The five-course meal moves quickly by Western standards.
Service is well-disciplined and organized to make the evening special. A framed photo of the dinner party is a nice touch.
Highly recommended.

I was already 2 times, I must say, that the quality of the food and the service is always outstanding. You must wait a bit, but they are so well organized, that after about 20 minutes, you get your table. Then all goes very fast: take orders and prepare food.
Also because they need your table: always many customers waiting. My favourite dish is: Xiaolongbao!! You can eat many others dishes:the menu has a large choise.

A good variety of Taiwanese breakfast foods... at prices you will absolutely LOVE. I eat a big breakfast... I mean a BIG breakfast and I was happy for about 125 NT Dollars! - Somewhere around $4.

We arrived without Reservations but were seated, although all the table were soon filled. This appears to be a popular restaurant, and features a set menu of tiny portions. The presentation of the food was artistic and the food was reasonably good, although I thought that the price was quite high (the equivalent of US$150+ for 2, without wine).

Make sure you make a reservation or there won't be space available. The meal consists of soup, salad, main, dessert (with a beverage), bread, and fried rice. The portions may be small, but I was stuffed at the end. Very delicious, quality product, and amazing service. For dessert, you're moved a separate sitting area, where they ask for your opinion on the meal. Someone in my party marked average for one of the dishes and the server immediately came back to ask how they can improve, and then offered to remake the dish for her. She was full, so she refused, but was given a complimentary gift. We saw some people celebrate their birthday there and were given special cakes and even had a picture taken and put in a frame. Definitely a great place to go for celebrating a special occasion!

This is a great Japanese grill restaurant that serves quality meats. The prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of food. The set meals comes with combination of meats, and also Deserts which are quite good.
We were seated in a private glass-walled room for our dinner. Service was excellent. Pressing a buzzer on the table and the waiter/waitress would very quickly respond.
Reservations are required to avoid queues.

Read good comments about this buffet and tried it during our visit to Kaohsiung. There were enough choices but tastes were just about average. There were a few seafood choices including very tiny abalone (after being cooked) and crabs besides sashimi. Drinks were quite good with various innovative combinations. Desserts included 8 flavors of Haagen Daz ice cream. Only odd thing was that all tables were requested to settle their bills at 7:30 p.m. when most customers just finished their first round of food.

A lot of food choice in Harbour Restaurant and not very expensive especially you reserve your table in Tripadvisor or Eztable. There is a discount on it. Space is good enough for gathering and there are different food district. Such as susi, hot food, tempura, instant self made beef or fish soup. Drink is also fabulous with beer, cocktail that you can't imagine you can find in buffet. It is good choice for first day when you arrive.

This is the best shabu shabu I have ever had in my entire life, so far. Reasons being:
- high quality & freshest ingredients from the beef to the seafood, even to the vegetables.
- very good soup
- nice environment and good service
I kept thinking of it after the visit so I have to write this review.
这是我吃过最好吃的火锅。材料新鲜,汤超棒,服务好,环境好。好想再回去。
