This place was so great we ate here 2 days in a row. Being a picky eater, I had the same thing 2x but I LOVED it (pork cutlets in a wild mushroom cream sauce--very delish!). My husband had different fish each day and said both were fantastic. There's an outdoor eating section as well as indoor decorated in a country nautical theme which was tasteful and not kitschy. Highly recommended (and not super expensive by US standards), especially in Jastarnia where it appears most of the restaurants are more of the low-end variety.
Spent there couple of hours during free days in january. Considering period, I was quite surprised variety of food. Good drinks, perfect cakes and nice burger. I can recomend this place. Staff is really nice :)

I am devastated by this place. Food is miserable, prices are higher then in best Italian restaurants in Warsaw, and interior is a mix of beach ugly tables, mountain style benches and hanging shower curtains. Service is exceptionally unpleasant. No one talked to us, ladies seemed to be bothered by our presence.
Just to give you some examples of food, crostini were three fat pieces of previously deep frozen baguette, which most likely has tons of preservatives so that it can withstand few months in a warehouse. To produce such bread they use, among others, ropionian calcium against molding, or potassium sorbate to prolong the durability of the product... On top of that this "crostini" was cold. Salad with chicken and prosciutto had absolutely no dressing, no taste and my stomach hurt even half a day after eating it.
Regrettably, there is absolutely no positive aspect of this place so I have no choice but to give them lowest score.

Just a simple place with not that much to choose from.
Fresh fish, food is good.
Unfortunately service is poor. We mentioned few times while ordering that we want food for our child to come first and a waitress confirmed it. As it turned out it came as the last one.

A restaurant serving Polish and regional cuisine.
First of all - don't expect too much visiting "restaurants" in Jastarnia. My opinion about "ŁÓŻKO" is based on comparison of a few restaurants I visited in Jastarnia. "ŁÓŻKO" was the best one - a nice variety of dishes, good service and above all - tasty. It was quite expensive comparing to other location in Jastarnia, but definitely worth trying - my halibut was delicious!

W Restauracji Gryfon serwujemy wiele różnych ryb, m.in. łososia, flądre, dorsza, śledzia, makrele z grilla lawowego i z pieca, bez tłuszczu w pachnących ziołach.
Noticed the previous evening when they had a blues concert so my Danish Captain and I tried it the next day. Good choice! I had cod wrapped in cabbage leaves. He the best pirogies of our sailing trip. Their house made pickled herring comes in several preparations, all good. My cheesecake was a pleasure but the owners sitting with us explaining their interests in quality and preparation, treating us to several versions of home made vodkas, augmented our culinary experience with social pleasure. The chef's wife lived in New York simplifying communication, enhancing what already was a surprising treat. Prices reasonable, quality high, socially a "local." We were the foreign visitors, rapidly friends as well. As we left a bottle of their own herring was presented to us for our sail. Quite a send off. What a surprise. I would return if still here but we sail soon.

Visited location twice during our summer holidays. First visit nearly five stars service and food quality. Second visit vaste of money and service zero points. We ordered sushi and got spring rolls. When we mentioned that the waitress started a discussion about what we had ordered. Moreover, main course was brought before we had eaten our pre course. Service continued like that. We were not even asked whether we wanted to drink sth else or order desserts. In order to pay we had to search for the waitress to do so. All waitresses were busy with their smartphones instead of taking care of the guests. Sorry, but that was not worth any Tipp!

If you are in this area i definitely recomend you to try any fish dish. This restaurant serves mainly typical kashubian food and they are all about fish! Yum. You should also try one (or more) of the regional bottled beers, they are all good ( Koźlak, Pseniczniak...). In the restaurant is half self service, you must get your own menu and then order at the bar, but they do speak english. I ordered fishermans dish - fish with onion and bread and it was simple and delicious!

Excellent choice on Hel peninsula for local cuisine , all kind of fishes in particular including herrings, cod , halibut & fladra ;-)
By the road , with convenient parking, outside and inside tables.
Self service/ ordering , plastic dishes do not discourage me to come back.
But do not expect fish delight here :-)

If you ever end up staying in Jastarnia this place is a must-to-go. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like at home so you just want to become a regular. Whether it's midday coffee (with fabulous homemade cakes), late lunch or dinner (great fish dishes) - you won't be disappointed. And since the place is children-friendly your kids will enjoy both the food and a little playground.

We came to Jastarnia after 60 Nm sailing on heavy sea. So we ware tired and almost frozen...Than we find this restaurant...o my...very beautifly decorated with great test. And the dinner... Chief mr Marchwinski is one of the bests, in our humbly opinion. Such souce with fish....fantastic. We have to continue our race, but certainly we will come back and tell our friends to visite this 7 continent place.
