This pleasingly peculiar market town is rife with old mills and flapjack-like "upstairs-downstairs" houses. Annual festivals, theatrical productions and parades pump the locals (and tourists) with life. Don’t miss the Hardcastle Crags or hiking along the gorgeous Pennine Way, and be sure to have a stroll along the inspirational Rochdale Canal.

Always reliably delicious - I have been visiting this eatery for many years and even a recent change of ownership has not changed the quality of the thai food on offer. For the best value get there before 7:00pm Tues to Friday for the early bird - a bargain. Great for solo, couple, families etc. The food is fresh, delicious and authentically thai.

We came across The Olive Branch on a Sunday afternoon stroll in Hebden Bridge. Thought we would try it after a few recommendations from friends. Both the food and service can only be described as excellent. We opted for the special offer of 2 courses for £13.95 per person. The food was so tasty and they didn’t skimp on portions as some restaurants do when they offer special prices. We will most definitely be returning!!

We are a small bistro, real ale and wine bar offering the freshest food cooked with care and consistency. Our style is uncomplicated and the ingredients recognizable. We have an extensive wine list and a range of hand pulled ales and draught imported lagers. Join us just for a drink or evening meal.
The evening started with Rhubarb gin and iced fruit...and continued on an upward trajectory from there... on the table there was delicious bread with oil and tiny squares of the tastiest warm tortilla...
Starter was chicken livers sauted with potatoes and we agreed that it was one of the nicest starters we'd had for a long, long time.
My main was a fillet steak in pepper sauce...on the face of it a conservative choice on my part but I had been alerted to the fact that the steaks here are top quality...and they are...Mine was full of flavour and truly outstanding. Normally I would not have three courses, but I was tipped off about the Limoncello Trifle... it really was special...All in all a splendid meal in really pleasant surroundings with brilliant service...

This is a great restaurant, we have been many times. They have it just right, service is impeccable, the food is of excellent quality freshly made by chefs who clearly understand their produce. This restaurant is perfect for families, busy, fun and feels as the customer is really well looked after. Children love this place.
The menu is extensive and the flavours are just wonderful. If you like a restaurant where you can hear a pin drop and it’s stale and boring this place isn’t for you. The waiters and waitresses sing happy birthday to guests celebrating and the whole restaurant joins in. What a delightful place.

Set in the beautiful Cragg Valley, this historic pub snuggles into it's environment between woods and two streams. Great countryside location.
I have wanted to visit The Hinchliffe Arms for an age but have to say as a dog lover myself I couldn’t believe my eyes when we arrived.Firstly you could hardly get through the doorway with couples drinking with lots of dogs with them not only that the dogs were up on the apolstered Seating that other guested would have to sit on- not very hygienic, also when other guests were trying to go in our out with their dogs lots of Barking and growling which doesn’t allow a relaxing Sunday lunch or even just a drink.I myself would never take my dog into a pub where people are dining at even if allowed and bear in mind my dog is a well behaved Bichon. Onto the food definitely nothing to write home to considering the price intact my pork dinner was barely ward and the Yorkshire pudding was cold.We had been warned by the party leaving that their plates were sent out cold so obviously this needs addressing!! Also very poor dessert menu so decided to go without. Don’t think we will be rushing back which is what the large party leaving said to us.

This place never fails us. The welcome is great, they really go out of their way to make you feel at home! The choice is extremely good, a very varied menu plus a specials board. Good service, good food, what's not to like.

Good portion sizes. Good selection of real ales although could do with a porter, stout, IPA etc. Reasonable prices, please do not increase and put your customers off. A little more cheese on the tuna baguette wouldn't go a miss please. Fab chips.

Gastro Pub & Restaurant, serving dishes ranging from sandwiches & burgers to a la carte dishes and fresh seafood. Modern British/European Cuisine
Excellent, central situation, plenty of room and comfortably furnished in an unfussy, practical way. An interesting range of beers that change quite regularly. A fairly typical 'good-pub-food' menu but prepared and plated with a pleasing degree of care and flair. Amicable service and a reassuringly pleasant atmosphere.
They seem to be getting most things right. We'll certainly go again. Recommended.

This was our first visit, humus was lovely as was the chips which we shared. We will definitely call again next time we’re in the areaHello Allbreads, thank you for your review. The only things that puzzles me is that we don't sell chips nor hummus, are you sure you are reviewing the correct cafe'? good luck with things and if you fancy a good pizza, try us!
