Gandaki zone (Nepali: गण्डकी अञ्चल Listen (help·info) is one of the fourteen zones of Nepal, located in the Western Development Region. It is named as Sapta Gandaki after the seven tributaries (Kali Gandaki, Trishuli, Budhi Gandaki, Marsyangdi, Madi, Seti Gandaki, and Daraudi) that make up the Gandaki River. Pokhara serves as its regional and zonal capital. It is also the birthplace of Bhanubhakta Acharya, first poet of Nepal.

We are the only Italian restaurant in Pokhara run by an Italian team. Since 1997, we stay true to our motto of Authentic Goodness by serving hearty dishes (pizzas, pasta, oven baked poultry and meat, etc.) from Italy's culinary tradition, where each dish is prepared in an authentic way with love and care. We have a small farm where we organically grow herbs, lettuces and veg. We also make our own ice cream which is free from colors and preservatives. The restaurant ambiance is a rustic blend of Italian and Nepalese decor, the atmosphere informal, relaxing, with a background of Jazz music.
I have to say however nice looking and lovely ambiance the place has I was really disappointed with the pizzas. I was expecting high hopes as a fellow Italian owned/managed the restaurant. The pizzas were anaemic devoid of any topping. My Diavola pizza had maybe 4 or 5 slices chillies and maybe half a dozen slices of salami. No onions or peppers. Just a margerita base. I have had these pizzas in Italy, London, Bedford and I accept that fresh ingredients in Nepal are hard to come by. But I don't accept those excuses. Tomatoes, onions, peppers, chillies are readily available, frozen pepper oni I've seen in the supermarket in Pokhara.
The toppings were just tight fullstop. And bearing in mind the premium price didn't justify the end result.
Sorry Cafe Concerto - Must do better.

Our restaurant is since 1997. We are serving best Sandwich in Pokhara since then. We serve more then 23 sandwiches and different toasts with cheese and chocolate and specially NUTELLA toast. Our vegetables are organic and soaked in iodine water. We do home Delivery service as well. We located center part of the lake side (near Once Upon a Time Restaurant). We are open late night also, no service charge extra on the price. Your satisfaction is our motto.
A small walk off the main stretch, this little Sandwich shop was a safe-haven for us during our stay in Pokhara.
We would HIGHLY recommend the Felafel Sandwich for vegetarians and the BLT for meat-eaters! Great value for dollar - the large sandwiches are 200-250 rupees and really fill you up.
The bloke running the joint is super friendly and is very nice. The place is well kept and easy to hang out in. We kept coming back - the value for dollar was just too good to pass up.
10/10. Brilliant.

We are a fun, fresh, relaxing restaurant serving the best crepes in Nepal! You will find many delicious options of sweet and savory crepes, including, nutella, peaches & cream, lemon sugar, smoked ham & cheese, veggie & egg, etc. We also offer gluten-free buckwheat crepe options. Our staff is second to none in service and cheerfulness. Our menu is small but focused on excellence. We offer the only frozen slush in Pokhara, along with full espresso based coffee menu, tea options, lassies, locally made ice-cream, and other assorted drinks. Come visit us for an experience in Pokhara you'll never forget! Thank you!
I read great reviews on this place and craved a sweet pancake, so finally made my way to Metro. I chose apple caramel cream pancake. It was much bigger than expected and it was tasty, even though a tad too sweet for my taste. For 350 nrp I don't consider it to be exactly a cheap eat (as it is stated on Tripadvisor), but my sweet tooth was satisfied :-) so no complaints.

Best place where you can take your coffee early in the morning...On the quite side of the lake.. With a beautiful view nice music and home made biscuits ,,,,and if you like to take a breakfast you will find here the best price with perfect taste,,,
And be sure there is no where else in Pokhara where you can find the real Hummos,,Mosakaa,,and Kabab...
Good price nice atmosphere beautiful view wonderful music.. And a lovely Arabic stuff serving there own business...
The food was delicious (unanimously agreed by our party of 6) and service was friendly. It did take a fair while for the food to arrive but considering just how fresh it was, it can be justified :)

Same restaurant as the one in Kathmandu (thamel), although this one enjoys a much better view over the lake. No matter wether you've been to OR2K in thamel or not, an before/after trek break at this restaurant is a must. And you'll will obviously find your favorite dishes on the menu.

A great place to hang out with friends and families while enjoying delicious local foods, especially Momo. Enjoy low prices but high quality food and service with high speed WIFI while you wait for your meal.
Once you have climbed the small stairs leading up to the restaurant, you'll find a nice little place, very clean and with very friendly staff. The menu offers various kinds of Momo dishes, from steamed to fried, served with broth, hot and sour or chili sauce and some specials like extra large Momos and Tibetan style buns. We tried several dishes, including sides. Everything tasted really good and was freshly prepared. And it all comes at a price which is really great for the portion sizes - and especially at pricey Lakeside! Make sure to leave some room for their chocolate Momos for dessert!! We will definitely be back.
