This is not really a restaurant since it is almost not possible to eat there. But there pizze to take-away are really good. Make sure however they only use mozzarella cheese (as in France they have the tendency to put a local cheese instead).

I can only echo what lots of others have said before about this long established bistro. The welcome is warm and friendly, the wood oven pizzas are the thinnest, crispest and best you'll find anywhere and the menu is supplemented by imaginative Thai and other dishes - the starter of baby squid is simple but superb. Do book ahead because in an area where good restaurants aren't plentiful it is deservedly very popular

Out hosts made us welcome and even though the restaurant appeared full they found us a table. The pizzas were delicious and the service attentive - this is a good mid-range pizzeria/restaurant serving hearty fare with warm service.

Just down from the Bastide de St Georges this pleasant restaurant has two nice terraces with flowers. The menu was varied although too little fish for my taste. Service very pleasant and moderate prices. Recommended.

Refined menu based on products of the region. Charolais beef, pork and lamb from the region. Outdoor Terrace and air conditionned salle. Reservations strongly urged.
My wife and I recently enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends which combined the friendly warmth of Maryvonne and the culinary skills of Marc. There was a good variety of meals and we were all well satisfied with our respective selections. My generous beef dish...MoreThank you so much for your lovely review! It is always nice to know how our clients feel! Thanks again for taking the time! We hope to see you again. Best regards, Maryvonne and Mark

We dined here because of all the rave reviews on this site and on our tour operators info. It was fully booked for many days but we did eventually get a table. i do appreciate that this is a bistro de pays type restaurant but our expectations were high. I thought that the cooking was of an average home cooking type. The night we were there there was a set starter, a choice of 2 main courses but no choice of dessert as they had sold out. The price was not expensive butI would not have expected if to be for what we had.

Wonderful couscous with delicious meat and vegetables with the best boulion ever. Very Morrocan. Closed on Wednesdays.

I do not have a problem when the waitress is busy and then everything takes a bit longer during bustling lunch time. I do however have a problem quite obviously being served as a second class tourist in a bistro that seemed to be mainly visited by local people. The three course "plat du jour" for 15 Euro was allegedly already out at 1 pm. Locals arriving later however had no problem ordering that. We were served a poor salad for nearly the same price. Bread arrived after reminding twice when we were already half way through with the salad. Other tables received their bread upon arrival. The glass of beer needed half an hour and two announcements before it finally arrived at our table. So we did not really feel like ordering coffee or dessert afterwards and rather left.

During past visits to Provence, I have twice driven past this place due to the exterior cafe-like appearance. Having seen and heard so many recommendations however, on our most recent trip we went in for dinner, and realised that we have been missing a treat. Great food, great service, and an interior in keeping with the great country bistrot it is.
I went for lamb cutlets cooked in fresh local herbs, served with chunky fries. My wife went for vegetable lasagne. Tarte Amande and Nougat Glace followed. The strawberry sauce accompanying the Nougat Glace deserves special mention, being so packed with fruit it was unbelievable.
Nothing to fault in any way, and one to add to our regular haunts.
