Blau Mari Restaurant is without any doubt the best scene to start the day, with a delicious Le Méridien breakfast. Discover the best cuisines in the world with a range of different buffets, seafood buffet, Italian, vegetarian, Mexican, sushi ... Something for all tastes! Open every day, during summer season.
Restaurant is located in Hotel Ra. Tables on the Terrace have a great view (next to Beach) and indoors place is very comfortable. Still This place seems to be focused (at least for dinner) on the half board guesses (outdoor area had the buffet for those). "à la carte" Menu was limited (very limited for dinner) and service was slow (maybe May is begging of season and they lack people?). Expensive and not a remarkable experience.

Found this place on TripAdvisor. Ended up getting cheese sticks (which were just frozen and fried), and the nachos (which you could easily make at home). Then got a Hollywood burger. The burger was darn good. I'd avoid everything else and just get the burger. Good fries, although they could be crispier.

We went for lunch today and were really impressed! The portions were much more generous compared to other places along the front and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The kids played on the beach the other side of the walkway while we sat and enjoyed our lunch. Kids menu available as well which they loved. Will be coming back!

In a unique location on the shores of the Mediterranean sea on the beach of Sant Salvador (El Vendrell, Tarragona), where you can enjoy a friendly, familiar and unique. In the Casinet you appreciate good food with a unique and friendly service. Along with the sea breeze and the rustling of the waves ... Located on the waterfront of San Salvador, it has become a place of reference where you can taste paella and rice among others, for many families and friends.
We had an excellent mussels japanesse style followed by paella and shared dessert.
We found paella delicious, even better than the one I prepare at home !!
Prices are correct given the quality.
Only negative point is that they serve San Pellegrino sparkling water. Does it make any ecological sense to transport just water from Italy when we have so many good sparkling watters so close in Catalonia ?

The quality of the seafood at la masia de la platja is wonderful and with typical catalonian preparation and rustic surroundings make this a wonderful experience for the pallet, but a painful one for the wallet.
They source their daily fish from vilanova, a large port town a few km up coast and offer multiple local preparations. We went for a large dorada (beam) a la sal. The herbed salt forms a crust and infuses the flesh with a mild flavour that does not detract from the natural flavours of the sea.
In winter I would recommend any number of the meat dishes.
In addition they serve a fantastic xato, a catalan almond based dip used as a salad dressing.
Like few other restaurants in the baix penedes coast, masia de la platja has whethered the test of time well and continues to stand for high quality in both cuisine and service unfortunately at sitges prices

Fine food. Good relation price quality. Fine ambience. Very popular in the locals. Suggest booking table before. Very often it's not possible to eat if you haven't booked it

Thia is an example of what waterfront restaurants ought to be like. Good cheerful setting , a menu relaying on fresh local produce, and efficient service. The fish whether grilled, fried or baked is always excellent and accompanied with mixed vegetable cooked just right. The local salad of the region, "xato" is served with a touch of originality, not easily accomplished with traditional dishes.

Great place, small, not so much tables, not noisy, very fast with the dishes.... Waiters (looked like sisters), very professionals. We had a nice night with friends, quality food, and price correct Specially the fish looks fresh and very tasty I do recommend this place.

We had a fantastic menu, 3 courses, wine, coffee and bread and all for around 10 Euros per person. I would guess that the smoked salmon I had for first course would have cost that amoutn at home! Food was excellent, service was excellent. Recommended by a local. Can be found at the sie of the permanent market in the centre. The restaurant in nice inside, don't be put off by the tables on the street. Would not recommend sitting outside as it is on a busy road, ok if you are only stopping for a quick drink or coffee, but if eating then get yourself inside and enjoy the atmosphere. Seems to be very popular with the locals and I cannot blame them. When you find somewhere you likke it is worth returning, we ill return next time we are in El Vendrell, probably on a market day too. Would highly recommend and will return for sure.
