We booked our wedding here last Summer and it was amazing from start to finish, checked in on Thursday evening with my bridesmaids stayed for a beautiful meal & drinks then off for a girly night, following morning the hotel staff could not look after us enough, they worked round the clock to make our reception room stunning and planned our ceremony room perfectly, the whole wedding was amazing and their care, support and kindness was beyond belief!!!! Myself and new husband stayed the evening of the wedding in the honeymoon suite and loved every second, the room is beautiful and the views are stunning to wake up to in the morning, this place is absolutely perfect for a small intimate wedding. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection, brilliant selection of fine wines, beers & spirits and the warmth from everyone second to none.
Special thanks to Avril, Andrea, Jessica, Andrew, Angela, Debra and all the staff who worked extremely hard to make everyone welcome and special, you are all amazing xx
Thank You

Recommended highly by a friend and was not disappointed. The bar was dog friendly and we were treated to a lovely plate of food, big portions too! Bar and waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Great to see The Findlay’s running the place like old times, will be back!

Thanks to previous reviews decided on this spot for lunch while visiting Dunbar.
Had a delicious lunch, party of three all had different dishes and everyone very happy with their meal. Good idea to make Reservations as we were fortunate to be accomodated. Just down off Main street but happy to have found it.

Tasty bargain 2 or 3 course lunch menu. Food as good as I have eaten in Italy.
Lunch for both of us with drinks just £25.05 and we both enjoyed it. Would definitely go back next time we're in North Berwick and recommend it to our friends. A traditional family run Italian eatery with no silly gimmicks or fancy prices.
Great friendly service and really clean including the toilets.

Pub
We popped in for some lunch on a cold day. The pub might look like a little old when you walk in but the staff are very welcoming and everyone inside was having a lovely time.
They are very dog friendly with more than half a dozen friendly four legged friends clapped while we were in. The food pizza we had was cracking, they show football and have a vast selection of fine biers.
Enjoy your visit.

We had dinner here on Valentines night. (we were pleased that there was no rip-off special Valentines menu!). Service was excellent, lovely decor and atmosphere and food was terrific - especially the lamb cutlets.(orange and fennel salad also excellent). Would definitely return and would highly recommend. Pricing towards the higher end but you get what you pay for!

After a stroll along the beach from the harbour and visiting the quaint shops in the High Street or John Muir’s birthplace, what could be better than a lovely hot special coffee and one of our yummy homemade cakes? We established our little business in Dunbar in December 2007 and very quickly realized our need to expand due to customer demand. We moved to No. 65 High Street soon after and opened on 4th July 2009. Our position in the center of Dunbar High Street on the “sunny side” of the street is ideal with ample on street parking spaces and easy walking distance from all of Dunbar’s attractions.
Our first visit & certainly won't be our last! With my sister & my two daughters & can't believe we haven't gone in before now. Lovely menu with great selection of food & drinks. Between us we had a selection inc porridge, nachos, bacon roll,...MoreThank you so much for your review, we are delighted you sampled a selection from our menu and you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to your return when hopefully you can sample a selection of our homebaking! Best regards, Martin and Lorraine

Lovely old fashioned plant nursery - beautiful plants, no gift shop - and wonderful tea shop housed in former greenhouses. Serves coffee, tea, lunch and fabulous cakes.
Whilst staying a few nights in East Linton we took a trip into the nearby Smeaton estate and visited the well stocked Smeaton Nursery Gardens and their Tearoom and gift shop. Warm little tearoom with views out the back where you can watch a variety of birds feeding on the strategically placed bird feeders. Really nice soup and sandwiches for lunch. Will be worth a return visit in the Spring / Summer when the plants in the Nursery will be in full bloom. Five minutes drive away from East Linton and up estate tree lined drive / road with passing places.

Gift shop and cafe in old smithy in the very pretty village of Tyninghame, a few minutes drive from East Linton.
Drove out through East Lothian last Thursday with my befriendee. Usual format is to go for a drive then stop somewhere for coffee and a cake. So we know the coffee shops in East Lothian very well. This was a lovely visit. We were shown through to the second room which has a stove. We both had the mandarin sponge, gluten free. It was fab. Coffee great too and staff friendly and efficient. I like that they don't have too many cakes on view. So the cakes they do have available are all fresh. I plan to return again soon.
