We enjoyed lunch at Angelas and its backyard environment, roosters included. A bit out of town but easily walkable, the 15 minute walk from Valentines was certainly worth it. The casual restaurant had fresh sea food, chicken, and some local recipes. The service was friendly, a bit slow (but we were not in any hurry) but the smiles were genuine. While there is not a lot of variety in the menus of local Dunmore Town restaurants due to the limited supply of products, Angelas food was tasty, fresh, and nicely presented. We would return and explore more of the menu selections.

We had lunch here while we were visiting the beach. It is an absolutely spectacular view. The food was very good. The staff was ok but did not do anything out of their way. They reluctantly brought us the specials menu. They seemed completely disinterested in even being there.
The view made up for it.
We recommended it to a couple sitting next to us on the beach and they said the staff was terrible as well.

Ordered The Emperor roast beef Sandwich and it was fantastic. The beef was sliced thin, and not fatty. The goat cheese, tomato and arugula on the french roll just all worked together. It was one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've had. Or maybe I was just happy to have something other than seafood, peas and rice. Prices are high, like the rest of Harbor Island and it takes them awhile to get it made. Bathroom past the kitchen was clean. Tiny interior, Seating on the covered porch.

Pre booked for Saturday evening .very busy service just about ok
Advised my partner could not eat the complimentary bread as gluten intolerant was offered some gluten free bread 2slices $8 plus service /vat .how can that be justified .
We both had curries one chicken one fish .both bland the rice more risotto than proper Asian style rice
Total bill for 2 cocktails water 2glasses of wine plus 2 curries plus the gluten free bread $213 .Even for Harbour Island that was expensive and not worth the money

This is a happening place when there is music playing. Really enjoyed the curry special and they have delicious conch fritters. Most of the Seating is outside with no cover and on a beautiful night you can really get into the Bahamian mood.

It was a dark and stormy night. It had been raining all day and hadn't let up. I wasn't looking forward to the golf cart ride from our rental cottage to "downtown" in that weather. We donned our rainjackets, took beach towels to dry off the seat of the cart and headed away.
We found a parking spot close to the entrance and dripped our way into the hotel. The gal at reception was gracious in helping us off with our wet coats and hung them up for us, then showed us the way to the restaurant. We were one of the first guests of the evening and were invited to a lovely table at the edge of the balcony. Unfortunately, we were both chilled to the bone with the cool evening and the dampness, but the restaurant staff made certain that we were able to find a table away from the breezes and even closed a couple of windows for us to ensure that we were comfortable! We felt indulged.
The meal was lovely - we started with spring rolls and a WHITE conch chowder (perfect to warm us up!) that was smooth and flavorful. I'd order that again in a heartbeat. The main courses were both beautifully presented and delicious. Despite the wet weather, we were able to relax and enjoy a truly lovely evening at The Rock House. It definitely rates a return on our next visit.

I just reviewed the hotel residence. The Dunmore restaurant is a fine and sunny place to hang out and gather for meals. The food is fresh and innovative. Although we have been all over Harbour Island on previous visits to dine in different restaurants, this trip we were not compelled to leave the Dunmore. Bright colors, open air, indoor and Terrace Seating with stairway down to the beach. The sand is soft and pink. Beach is clean as a whistle. Staff is constantly working to insure fun filled afternoons in the sand and surf.

Known for being gossip central, Sip Sip offers much more. It starts with a great location. If you are lucky enough to snag a “front row” seat with uninterrupted beach view, you will maximize the experience. Aside from that, the place has high energy of upscale clientele in their best beachwear. And then you can top it all off with terrific food, and yummy drinks. Be prepared to wait in line for a table if you aren’t at restaurant prior to opening. However if you are patient, and want to enjoy your trip, arrive when you feel, sign up for a table at the bar, then order a cocktail and relax in the waiting area. Or shop the store and watch the action. I have been multiple times, and it’s always worth the money and the wait time.

Stopped by one day doing errands on the golf cart, and ordered some conch fritters, and the conch salad. Both were amazing! Wait was slightly long, and make sure not to drop a phone through the floor! But the food was so good, the people working there were so nice, and the views were unreal. Would highly recommend. And it makes for a really good Instagram picture near the sign.

Christopher is the bartender and has been a friend for years. The food is as good as ever and the change in location has not hurt the quality at all, but it is a bit smaller so Reservations are suggested.
