My husband and I booked the restaurant before we visited Martinique based on the reviews. We were not disappointed although it was a little difficult to get to without a car. However we arrived in time to look around the pottery village and visited the restaurant to ask the owner whether she could order us a taxi back to the ferry after dinner. She was very helpful and took full responsibility for ordering the taxi. When we returned later for dinner she advised us that she hadn't been able to get through to the taxi company but that one of her staff would give us a lift. We were then treated to a superb meal sitting outside with candles and low lighting with the crickets singing. There was even mosquito repellent on the table for us to use. All our menu choices were excellent, my husbands only regret was that he didn't try their Pina Colada! Thank you to Anabela and her staff for looking after us so well and persevering with our less than fluent french.

A good mix and variety of Japanese, Korean, Chinese food, served with a pinch of local Creole & French rum & wine. The restaurant is nicely decorated, perfect hangout place if you want to get away from the traditional steak or fish & chips.

Super resto. At the center of Martinique. You can go. Good food. Staff is perfect. And not expensive.

First of all, if you want to have a grilled lobster (la langouste grillee), you must call ahead to reserve one. Unfortunately, we did not know that and did not have this restaurant's best dish. Fortunately, they had conch - which was prepared expertly. Overall, the food was top-notch.
On the other hand, the service was ultra-slow. In general, the service on the island is quite relaxed, no problem with that, but we had to wait for an hour for our food. That said, there was one server and one chef working the entire dining room, so that is not surprising. Also, this is not fine dining by any means. It is basically a single room in a concrete building, no frills. The main thing they concentrate on is their food, so if you want awesome grilled seafood and chicken, this is the place to go.
Oh, and they have quite a nice selection of rhums, including the Niesson Vieux, and various digestifs.

Truly cannot fault this restaurant, we found it quite by accident because it is in the middle of an industrial estate and now we can't keep away. The food is innovative and SO tasty, well presented and varied, dishes are different each day. The service is first class, friendly and smiley, and they remember you. It's busy, of course, so best to book.

Excellente brioche caramel beurre salé + glace vanille pacane.

Most of the patrons work or live around...it's their canteen but the food is excellent, a large choice of creole and french food. The staff is friendly and efficient, the prices quite good.I do recommend.

As many eating places in Martinique you just don't pass in front of them. You have to be told where to go and try to find your way. If you are lucky someone will take you there the first time.
This did not stop this small place to be busy with locals for lunch. we were welcome at the door by a very pleasant waitress and seated quickly to one of the only table available.
While we waited for the 4th person we ordered a plate of charcuterie which was neatly presented on a square of slate. some freshly baked baguette and red wine would do the trick.
For main course there were a choice of different meat cuts, our table had some sirloin, hanging tender and flank steak. All were very nice and cooked to perfection.
The homemade apple tart and tiramisu ended a very pleasant lunch.
