We stumbled on this place for Breakfast! The decor was that of an authentic grocery store from the Coffee Region from the early 1900s. The breakfast menu caters to those with "guayabo" (Colombian for hangover) including delicious caldos or soups. The service was attentive. It's a cool place and I imagine that nights are a blast !

The staff were very friendly and helpful The smallest portion on the menu was 400 grams so the waiter said "Share one!" Which we did. Each of us was served half the baby beef on a hot plate. It is one of the best steaks I have eaten. Also, very good value. I believe it is the first time I have had a bottle of wine in a restauarantt at less than the supermarket price. If I lived in th area I wold go at least every two weeks.

Recommended by a couple of friends, we visited this place for lunch as it was open only until 3pm. They open again at night.
The menu has a great variety of options, but just a few for vegetarians.
The place is cozy and the service is very professional and it has free parking.
They have real natural fruit juices.
We ordered burrata and corn soup and salté mushrooms...
All 3 dishes were delicious and served quickly.
We would come again if the opportunity is given.

Kilaba is a great little spot made even better by Sameer, the personable and overly charming owner. The space itself is small (maybe 10 tables) and intimate, and the food is very decent. Lovers of middle-eastern cuisine must accept that the flavors here have been tempered a bit to adjust for local tastes (the hummus is thinner and has almost no tahini, the tabulah is more like a pico de gallo with middle eastern spices) but nonetheless the food is tasty and cheap. A full meal plus beverage ran about USD 8.00.
The real star of the show, however, is Sameer. This man lives to be a host and restauranteur. His pure joy in playing host and meeting people shines through. Trust me, come here and dine. It will be a great experience.

We were seated around 9pm. The restaurant was about half full and there were plenty of waiters around. They took our drink order after we were seated but it was another 15 minutes before we saw a menu. Food came out promptly and it was excellent. The seafood paella was perfect and enough for two to share. I'd go back again and hope the service will be better.

had a chicken teryaki. came plated beautifully. cooked just right. a little bed of mashed potatoes for the starch with some vegetables. nice to not get the usual rice, potatoe and plantain that is so common in this part of the world. prices were execellent and you left feeling just right not to full and not hungry. gave it one notch down as the service was fairly slow not sure if it was just the night or usual.

Wonderful menu, very cute, and I can't wait to try the food. But it's been an hour (now 1:30) and we haven't yet been served. Many tables have ordered but only one has been served. One of the waitresses is young and inexperienced. I can see other diners getting furious.
I hoped they would serve us before I finished this review so I could comment on the food. No such luck :-( A restaurant run this badly does not deserve your patronage. The table of 8 is the only table served in 90 minutes!
