Dorval /dɔːrˈvæl/ (French pronunciation: [dɔʁval]) is an on-island suburb on the island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. In 2011, the Canadian Census indicated that the population increased by 0.7% to 18,088. Although the city has the largest surface area in the West Island, it is among the least densely populated. Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport constitutes about 60% of the city's land, forcing all of Dorval's population to be concentrated in the southern part of the city.

We were 4, and had a reservation for 7:30pm. My husband and I arrived at 7:10pm and after 10 minutes standing we were ask if we had a reservation, I ask if we could be seated since the restaurant had more than 8 table empty and he said no. We had to wait for 7:30. When our plates arrived I ask for parmasan cheese for our pasta and the server in a bad way answer the girl will bring it. The food for the price and service not worth to go. Never will go again. And believe me I travel the world and know when food and service is good.

A colleague was working downtown and then flying home. I suggested we meet here. We both loved it! Service is always personalized. The make you feel feel like you're visiting their home. The pizzas are fabulous and the pastas delicious. Portions are very generous. Whether you're early for your flight, or hungry before you head home, stop in for a meal. It's worth it!

We were 15 at the long table in the private area next to the main dining room. The meal had set choices and each one was great and very tasty, the service was prompt and friendly. We have been here before and always enjoyed the wonderful Italian menu.

We order from here all the time. The pizzas are great! Try the Special, "Vieux Dorval". They always deliver fast, and the pizza hot, and each time for the past few years, baked perfectly. I have never been unsatisfied. And I am a pizza addict/connoiseur...MoreThank you Sean! We are doing our best. I'm very pleased that you appreciate it.

.My husband and I and our son were here on a Saturday night in October for a friend's birthday. We were about 20 people all together, sitting at two long rectangle tables on the crowded 2nd floor. The decor is fine and the view fabulous. The place was packed so our Seating arrangements were less than ideal. My back was facing the guest of honour's table all night.
Everyone ordered from a table-d’hôte menu to speed-up service and the selection had something for everyone - pasta, meat and fish. Service was quick and friendly.
My swordfish was delicious and everyone at our table enjoyed their meals except my husband, the only one who had the veal with a Bailey's-based sauce. Don't.
This is the second time we've been here for a celebratory meal. Several years ago, we held my son's first communion luncheon upstairs and the paired-down menu was well-chosen and the comments from family and friends were all positive.
It is pricey. My swordfish was $33 and came with a side of steamed vegetables. The appetizer was a basic lettuce salad and for dessert, a carrot-cake. I seem to remember only the pasta was priced in the $20 range.
A glass of Prosecco was $9 and the host took care of the wine.
I would recommend Il Fornetto for a small wedding, birthday or other small celebration. In fact, there was a wedding dinner at the table in front of us

This is truly a dining jewel in Pointe-Claire village! We had the salmon and it was simply delightful. Portion size is definitely adequate, you don't leave hungry and food is fresh and of high quality! Recommend Reservations on Saturday night, or you don't get in. City parking just across (max 3 hr duration). Not really wheel-chair accessible. The interior so incredibly quaint, old-fashioned (former) stone house that's been converted. Unique art pieces on wall lending to over all warmth of the place, ambiance. It is pricey, but good food usually is.

January 21, 2018. My Spouse and I went to Del Friscos today. I had the Marinara Spaghetti and he had the Spaghetti Primavera. Everything arrived exactly the way we ordered it. The portions are very big and we are always happy to take home "doggie bags". We were served by CHRISTOPHER. The staff is very friendly. It was a pleasure meeting Xan, Manager, and having Jeremie also helping serve some of the delicious food. Thank you to Christopher, Xan and Jeremie, for always going the "extra mile". The Primavera looked like a "Garden of Veggies" very colorful and delicious. The little rolls arrived piping hot.

Visiting from out of town. Impressed by reviews do decided to try. Good variety on menu. Québécois pizza was delicious. Loaded with toppings, without being overdone. Their signature salad made z good accompaniment and has cold cuts and cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and olives in a tasty balsamic house dressing. (Ask for dressing on side if you're not sure you'll eat it all right away so that it keeps longer for leftovers).
I will definitely suggest to friends and family in the area and will try again when back in town visiting.

We were 10 people. We all ordered different entrees. Also had appetizers : burrata, sausage and peppers and calamari. All were excellent. Steaks are also very good considering this is an Italian resto. Really good steakhouse quality steaks.
Prices are expensive for what you get especially with the pasta plates. That is where they make most profit margins.
Good selection of wines too. Ambiance was good. Quiet and dark. Service was excellent. Would have gotten 5 stars if the prices were overall inferior by 20%.
Highly recommended.
