La Barbe is a truly French Restaurant, established 35 years ago and located opposite the wonderful Priory Park in Reigate, Surrey. La Barbe is a place that is welcoming, friendly and strongly connected to the landscape. We serve fine, freshly cooked French cuisine with a modern twist. The atmosphere is informally elegant and French through and through, from the genuinely friendly staff to the decor and, most importantly, the delicious food. Our chefs elaborate a new menu every season, creating an exciting selection of French dishes with a modern twist presented with the flair you would expect in Reigate’s own corner of France. The emphasis is on local ingredients, freshness, flavour and fabulous presentation. Our restaurant wine list offers carefully selected wines some of which organic from most of the different French wine regions but also some excellent new world wines.
Had a great Sunday Lunch with family at this excellent French Restaurant. We had the three course set lunch which was reasonably priced. The food was excellent and served by attentive well presented and pleasant staff. Definitely a place to go for great food. The wine wasn't bad either! Will definitely go again.

Popped in to celebrate a birthday, with the Sunday Buffet. Superb selection of dishes, tasty starters, and good selection of mains and vegetable curries.
Lamb Rogan josh, was particularly tender.

I have never been here before, wow amazing all round! My friends recommended it, as I looked up the reviews & they were fab.
Its opposite a green & would be lovely in the summer, but the sun did shine on my birthday.
Its such a cute place & plenty of parking. There are 2 parts to this place the posh part, but round the corner more places to sit with a bar in it.
My friends booked a table for midday ( that's when it opens) & sat in the corner by the window it was lovely with sun shining in. White table clothes on the table & had paper napkins with their name on in.
Our waitress was called Kate & very friendly & we ordered drinks 1st, so we could look at the menu wow such a good choice. We had gin & tonic, apple juice & pineapple juice. We all decided to have the 3 x Classic Beef Stroganoff the reviews on this meal were amazing & they were all right. So pleased I didn't have a starter which were mouth watering too, but wanted room for the yummy Deserts which were very yummy too, 2 x homemade squidgy meringue with red berries looked amazing, but I had the warm sticky toffee pudding with cream not ice cream as it comes with that, cream came in a little jug on the side. Deserts were very yummy indeed. Finally had peppermint tea, black coffee & I had hot choc.
Thank you to Kate & Billy for making my birthday lunch special.
I would recommend, this place, but they have a few dotted around Surrey.
There are plenty of Seating outside to the front opposite the green & little garden at the back fenced off from the car park.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday here yesterday, and we're impressed by the experience. The dinner menu offered good choices for starters, mains and desserts, with a focaccia option which we took. It was a good choice. The bread was warm and slightly toasted, with a tasty olive oil/balsamic vinegar dressing, and was some of the best I have tasted recently. The fillet steak and pork tenderloin were well-presented and tasted good. Wines from their vineyard are available by the glass or bottle, and were reasonably priced. The service was attentive and professional, but not over-powering, and the whole experience was a very enjoyable one. No hesitation in returning in the future.
