Fuimos por ser conocido como el restaurante alemán de la villa, pero precisamente no había costillas de cerdo ahumadas, lo que no era poca cosa como falla. Pero había otras cosas ricas bien preparadas, como un chorizo alemán con chucrut con tres acompañamientos, entre ellos un chucrut muy sabroso, plato apto para compartir.
También había comida internacional, como pastas y carnes.
La cerveza era bien fría, como nos gusta en Argentina, y servida en vasos helados.
Cordial atención.

This is primarily a bakery but you can sit and have breakfast, something small to eat or even drinks with beautiful outdoor Seating (you can also sit indoor when weather conditions aren't great).
Fresh orange juice, very good coffee and heavenly pastries and sandwiches. Staff also friendly and accommodating and prices are good.
You can not miss this place if you visit Costa del Este!

Cenamos en el deck de madera a metros de la avenida 2, el servicio fue excelente y rápido, la Corvina a la parrilla fue sin duda el plato distinto que estábamos buscando, lo disfrutamos mucho, sabroso y bien cocido.
Posta vegetarianos tiene unos Sorrentinos de calabaza muy sabrosos.

Lo único bueno que tiene es la amabilidad de la moza y que hay juegos de mesa para jugar mientras se come.
La carta no ofrece demasiadas opciones, para vegetarianos por ejemplo no hay absolutamente nada!!! Y los precios son extremadamente caros para la propuesta. Sirven cerveza artesanal, carísima, e insisto los platos son caros. No tienen comida gourmet, o algo demasiado elaborado por eso es que me pareció caro.

Open off-season, with long hours, this cafe serves good coffee, pastries and cakes and has excellent wifi and friendly staff.

Good pizza place with friendly staff and good pizza & empanadas. There are a few tables indoors but it's mostly outdoor Seating, which is what you want anyway.

HACE MUCHOS AÑOS,en el verano de 1972, probé el SAMBAYON en una "nueva HELADERÍA", Y por sugerencia de mi querido JORGE POLACO. De ahí , siempre lo compré hasta que desde algunos años, no lo encontré con las mismas propiedades y seguí buscando hasta que hoy lo encontré , cerquita de mi lugar de Aguas Verdes: ¡excelente!

Muy lindo lugar. Buena la atención y las tortas riquísimas, las porciones muy abundantes. Ideal para merendar (sobre todo si llueve o está fresco). Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

We visited this restaurant on several occassions with family and friends during Dec-Jan.
It's located inside Almarena Hotel although it has its own entrance. It is hands down the most beautiful place in Costa del Este for dining.
Food is of a very good quality and fresh ingredients, small but good menu with several choices even for me, a quite picky eater. Prices are good, credit cards accepted.
Design is very modern and stylish.
Last but not least, staff were all very friendly and accomodating, especially the hostess, who went out of her way to always find a table even without reservation and a full house. Unfortunately I didn't get her name or the cheff's, which I would like to have mentioned here.
We spent new years eve here, too. Jazz band during dinner & very good menu and wines. Also good party music later to enjoy in the Terrace after midnight or dance for a bit of fun.
All in all I highly recommend this place, looking forward to return.
Loved the carrot dip!
