The Mill offers a wide choice of dining options. The Mill Brook Room features an a la carte menu developed by our Head Chef. His accomplished and memorable cuisine is distinguished by clear flavours, which combine classic and modern styles. Our suppliers are predominantly local and organic. They include butcher Trevor Beadle from Cotswold Meats in Chipping Norton, Oxford Premier Cheese Company and Cotswold Dairies. Our fish is delivered overnight from Brixham Harbour in Devon by New Wave Seafoods of Fairford.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local business. Everything was good from the service, the daily menu choice and it value, the quality of the cooking and its presentation. Excellent, well done.Thank you for your wonderful review of the Mill House Hotel. We are glad to hear you had a lovely lunch with us. We look forward to seeing you again!

Exciting modern and contemporary seasonal British food and relaxed friendly service complemented by three stylish double rooms.
Wild Thyme is that rare beast in the North Cotswolds, a proper restaurant rather than a pub dishing up Mountains of pub grub, of which there are dozens operating at different levels.
Restaurant was very quiet on a February lunchtime: some more customers would help the ambience.
Food was well done, and well presented. We both had the duck, served with stuffing (perhaps the latter a bit bland) on top of several veg in a tasty reduction. I say several vegetables, and arguably there were too many different ingredients in there: sometimes less is more. Dessert choice on the lunch menu was limited but the tout chocolat was fine, the iced dessert containing limoncello had unfortunately lost the limoncello flavour.

The Raspberry Bakewell cocktail, the first I tried was presented like a work of art! We tried 2 others, Long Island iced tea and a pornstar Martini and the attention to detail, strength and flavour equally as high. Better than any cocktails we've had in London and very well priced. The bar was packed at 9pm and it was difficult to find a space to stand never mind sit but it quietened down considerably at 10pm. Lovely experience.

Very good restaurant in Oxfordshire. It serves a selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, with gluten free options shown on the menu.
We went there last night after Reading the amazing reviews, however it didn’t live up to its name. The service was slow as there was only one waitress serving drinks, clearing the tables and greeting people etc. She was great but they did need someone else to help her as well.
However we ordered some food, my wife had a veggie main which tasted good. The let down was the £13.50 burger. Baring in mind it was this amount of money, you would honestly get a better burger and a more healthy one in McDonald for £10 less. The burger itself was so greasy, that in fact the bun was ruined and I had half a plate worth of grease and fat on my plate at the end of it, so unhealthy. The fries looked liked that they had been frozen and just cooked again in loads of oil. Poor quality over all and did appointing from other reviews they have got already, on this basics I wiling be going back.

A 17th century pub brought back to life with contempary lighting and soft furnishings that bring out the beauty of the original Oxford stone. The front bar holds the key to your welcome with a fully functional wood burner, the stable room restaurant, an original stable with its wooden rafters help you relax and enjoy the Great British menu on offer alongside the fine ales and extensive wine list. The warm welcome by the staff make this a perfect destination for drinks, a quick meal or an excuse to sit and dine in the cosy atmosphere with friends and family
Very good.. but see comments below.
All my requests for this family surprise meal were listened to and more. Christian, and other table waiters, were great. Attentive to our needs.
AND the food was great, EXCEPT for 2 points..
The 'Triple Fried Chips' were not crisp and mine were only warm.
Secondly there should be a 'Slim' choice for a sweet,.. ie fruit salad or any seasonal fruit. I am not an icecream fan.

In the picture perfect village of Churchill, The Chequers is everything a traditional pub should be with its pretty Cotswold stone exterior and a muddy landrover outside. Except, step inside this pub and you'll find something much more intriguing. A heady mix of the old and new. Expect modern cocktails to sit alongside local ales, and a menu that is packed with seasonally inspired dishes.Enjoy locally brewed beer propped at our bar with friends and family, or rustic dishes in our restaurant using the very best British ingredients in some well-loved classics like our Twice Baked Cheddar Soufflé, Bobby Battered Market Fish and our unmissable steaks cooked to perfection in Josper ovens.
Visited with friends at the weekend and had a lovely meal. I’ve eaten here several times now and always enjoyed it. Good atmosphere and great food

A family run business serve you Thai Malaysian Chinese foods we love with truly Malaysian services.
This restaurant deserves its great reviews. As a vegetarian couple we have met many places which claim to be vegetarian friendly on the basis of offering one option. Thai Shire is not like that! The vegetarian choices are clearly identified and there are a decent number to select from. Plus the friendly waitress identified that we were veggie and offered us another special dish not listed, Malaysian curry, which was excellent. Also highly recommend the butterscotch, ginger and pineapple ice-cream - delicious.

We visited with our young son (11 months old) and had a lovely evening meal, my husband had a starter of garlic mushrooms and the. We both had steaks. The sirloin was very tasty as was both the garlic butter and mushroom sauces. A good wine and beer selection. All of the team that served us were friendly and efficient. We had a lovely evening. Thank you.
