Pietrasanta has become really popular and crowded, especially during weekends. For these reasons we booked 1 month in advanced for a birthday. Except we were not told that there are 3 dining turns. And if you show up a little late your Reading time is counted.. So we had to give up or c take outside and sit inside with an incredibly faint A/C.
To there for now. The spaghetti with ricci and bottarga were tasteless, there ravioli with pappa all pomodoro delicious, the gnocchi with scampi and liquorice average (such a sauce is a winner, covers all). The seared tuna with poppy seeds was good, the Morara I will remember better.
Overall, however not our best dining experience. In 3 days I will have forgot all I had to eat but remember our table inside

Went here with my wife and two friends, choice and quality of food was excellent and the staff very attentive.
Primarily a seafood restaurant with a very good choice of white wines but limited red which is understandable.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful when it came to explaining the menu to non Italian speakers.
Definitely recommend.

The first time we ate here this restaurant wowed us with excellent food & super value for money. Our expectations were therefore high & although we had a pleasant evening the food was rather disappointing. Almost all the dishes on the tasting menu contained tomato, and although we do like tomato the balance was not good. The pasta was disappointing and overpowered by the addition of mint which didn't compliment the seafood. Our friend ordered a la carte and was unlucky in her choice of cod with polenta as this turned out to be a cold dish which was bland and unappetising. It's still in a good location, the service friendly and the value good.... Perhaps we were just unlucky on the night?

If you're looking for gourmet cuisine, eating in an outside patio adorned with lemon trees, tomatoes and other mediterrenean herbs, this is the place for you.
Despite the possibility of picking á la carte, I would definitely recommend choosing the daily Chef proposal which, at a price of 35€, offers many dishes, all prepared with the mastery of an experienced chef, at a very affordable price.
All the staff is extremely corteous and helpful in explaining the composition of the dishes offered.

The restaurant has an amazing location and setting. If you can book in sufficiently in advance and get an outdoor Seating by the stream you should definitely visit once.
The drinks by the stream is also a good idea.
The food is average. Fresh ingredients but lacking flavour.
The staff is very polite and accommodating. However they get quite busy in peak hours and there are some confusions going on around.
All in all an experience to have once for the setting of not the food .

This little Tattoria is off the main track (even in Lucca!) and should be sought out. Food is good, house wine great and service efficient and polite. I had a steak which was cooked exactly as ordered served in a peppercorn sauce, others had Lasagna, chicken stew and Tortellini Ragu, all were decent portions, well cooked, simply presented and went well with the house wine. A hit with the locals, the wine is very reasonably priced. Food is slightly dearer than the surrounding restaurants, but, well justified. So will probably cost you an additional €5 per head but well worth the little extra. Been here a few times over the years, it seems to get better.

There were 5 of us at dinner and some of the dishes were ok--but my mixed grill was so dry it was inedible, they had run out of tortellini, the "fantasia" starter was really terrible--fried bread, fried pie type things, pretty inedible. My daughter said her fish was good and another in our group said his calzone was good, so you have to choose carefully. The great thing is that it is very very cheap--about 100 Euros for 5 of us with 2 bottles of wine and free Prosecco.

Food and drink is one of the pleasures of life, and that's why we want our hospitality and taste good food can make you remember us.
Our family, restaurateurs since 1972, has always offered a Mediterranean cuisine, inspired in search of local products, from which are our specialties. The restaurant has an indoor heated pool with 50 seats and wireless connection to surf the net at both inside and outside the room.

As well as in the inner room air-conditioned, in warmer weather you can dine outside on the square used as a restaurant that overlooks the waterfront. The outdoor area can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 seats.
It was better one time ..... but after two years has unfortunately changed in poorer side. Good staff lacks - Quality has to suffer. Its no more this money value.kind sir , I'm sorry we always try to improve quality offering and service at modest prices ... Come back here to find because surely change your mind ..thank you

Locale panoramico, cucina casereccia.
Wasn't open! Tried to take family for a meal on the last night of our holiday. Said it opened at 1700hrs. Waited. Finally rang owner who said it opened at 2000hrs. Not the easiest restaurant to visit. Had pushchairs with us as well!

We loved this place, lovely decor and a nice 'feel' to the place, very very nice with such friendly service, we were made to feel very welcome on every visit. Great food too, would definitely recommend anyone on holiday to visit. Very popular with the locals too.
