My husband and I stayed here for the weekend as we were in town scuba diving. We booked the smaller suite but were upgraded to the larger St. Lawrence suite. We really enjoyed the suite - it's quite spacious and for an affordable rate. The room has a large bathroom (with tub & shower), a TV/den with a flat screen TV and couches, a full kitchen (including a stove) and a bedroom. I don't believe there is an elevator, but we didn't mind the stairs. The best part about staying here was eating at the Brockberry Grill. This is the only place we went to for food throughout the whole weekend! The service at the restaurant is super - shout out to Jennifer and Julian! We had the wings, the special tenderloin skewers and the Smokehouse Sampler. If you're into BBQ and have at least 2 people, I highly recommend ordering the Sampler. It was amazing. Came with 4 types of meat, all cooked to perfection and sides. I'm still craving it! If you're looking to come to Brockville for a night or a weekend or are coming for the scuba diving, I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect to access the waterfront and downtown Brockville and the people working here are lovely. Thanks!

We were driving thru and wanted to stop and get lunch-- to try poutine for the first time. This time of year parking is no problem. We asked about what to get for our group and the lady helped us make a good order. We had a piece of fish for each person. The breading is a bit heavy for what I prefer but the fish is great! The poutine has actual cut up potato fries and real cheese curd! The brown sauce/ gravy was ok. Some others liked it more than i did.
The bathtub in the shop is certainly unique. They have drink options but no restrooms.

IMHO there are few restaurants in Brockville that are noteworthy but this is the exception. I lunch here about once a month. The menu is your typical family restaurant....burgers, soup, sandwiches, souvlaki, pasta, all-Day breakfast and fish & chips. The food is fresh and the portions are generous. It’s a very busy place for breakfast and lunch. What stands out are the servers. Without exception they are friendly, sincere and efficient. My “go to” place in B’ville.

I was in Brockville to spend Christmas with my family having travelled over from the UK. We were due to go out of town but the snow put paid to that so we made Reservations at the Buell St Bistro for dinner. We managed to get down town despite the snow and trudged the last few yards in our snow boots emerging into the warm restaurant decidedly overdressed. After removing our outer layers we were shown to a table in the lower area where we were taken care of by the polite and efficient staff. Two of our party had the fish special for the evening and the others chose interesting dishes from the menu. We had a fabulous hot cheese and walnut dip as a shared starter and the remainder of our meals were equally pleasing as we progressed through dinner. The restaurant is a family business and this shows in the care and attention that staff pay to their guests, something missing in many 'corporate' venues. We had a such good time that we returned later in our visit and had pretty much the same to eat as it was all so good the first time. I wish them continued success in the future, thank you for your hospitality.

The Mill is located in the heart of Brockville. It is open for Lunch and Dinner Monday through Friday and for Dinner on Saturday. The Mill is an Italian style restaurant that has a varied menu. Please look on our website for our current menus. We also have private function rooms that are available for private groups ranging from eight to eighty. We are the perfect venue for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays as well as corporate events.
This restaurant is downstairs from the mill and used to be a pub with music. Now it's a boring, cold, slow restaurant. The server did the best she could with what she had to work with. She took our order and it took 30 minutes for the food to show up from upstairs. We were told that the mill upstairs takes precedent over down here. The steak my brother had was apparently very good and the chicken our lawyer had was also good, but this is not the case with the burgers. They were very dry and burnt and grisly and the fries are those skinny over cooked things that reminded me of prefrozen. My meal was actually pretty nasty. And only 2 selections of draught, that they must have gotten cheap. I would not go back here for any reason even if it was free. 2 draught, 1 steak, 1 dry hamburger and soggy fries and 2 desserts - - - $86.//$91. with tip. Never again. Oh by the way the chairs were unbearably uncomfortable.

This is a hidden gem since it is not in the old part of Brockville but on the north side of Hwy 401. This is a much better place to eat versus the chain restaurants in Brockville. I have been here for breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed. They refill our coffee many times and the food is tasty and plentiful. It is not a huge place so it can be busy. I like the sandwiches and they had coconut cream pie which is a must have.

Enjoy one of Canada's original roadhouse restaurants, with Canadian favourites like double stacked burgers and unforgettable chicken wings. At Kelsey's the beer is always cold and a game is always on.
We went to Kelsey’s for brunch a few times last month and I was pleasantly surprised with the new breakfast options on the menu. As there aren’t many breakfast options in town this was a nice surprise. The breakfast poutine is awesome!! Will definitely have that again. Breakfast Quesadilla wasn’t bad either. Definitely a pricier option than some places but worth the money.

Currently has some reviews on the urban spoon. A great place to have lunch in Brockville. Excellent food, fabulous friendly service, wonderful and interesting selection of British Ales on tap. Would definitely go again and refer to friends.
We entered this establishment really excited to check it out. It was serving a lunchtime crowd, but we waited longer than I would have expected to get menus. We opted for a special (a Turkey Sandwich with Brie and cranberry that sounded great), liver and a red wine sauce, a burger, and fried pickles. While it was all okay, nothing was outstanding. The Sandwich needed more Turkey and cranberry; though I love Brie, it was all you could taste. I ordered a mulligatawny soup that was advertised as traditional, but it was all chicken and no spice. My husband had the mushroom soup of the day and said it was fabulous.

New (July 2011) "Exotic Indian Cuisine" restaurant. Unfortunately, no website but the phone number is: 613-865-7518. Menu meals, buffet, catering, take out, large sitdown area.
Have been to the other Thai restaurant in town so thought we would try this one this time and glad we did. The ambiance, service and food were all above average. Only negative was the CD music we finally asked them to turn it off or change/fix it as it kept repeating and skipping (if that is the correct word).
Had the house specialty dish goat - as we had never tried before. It was great. I have to admit I was a little nervous, wasn't sure if it would be gamey, fatty, or what but it was similar to lamb and very enjoyable.
We asked what chicken dish would go best with it and our server suggested the chicken Tikki Masala which we both really enjoyed.
One regular basmati rice and a Naan and our dinner was complete.
I even had leftovers for lunch the next day.
I had read the reviews on poor/slow service but I would disagree! This is the appropriate speed for a good meal. I think many people are used to fast food and Swiss Chalet or East Side Mario's sevice speed. This service will make you feel welcome to stay and enjoy your meal at a nice pace.
