To enjoy, take the river cruise. It is like the bohol river cruise without the singing people on the shore banks. this made it less tourist trap and more nice. the food is good and ok. not memorable but ok.

Giant Taklobo Resto Grill

Me and my husband ordered their small meat bilao (PHP800) and a halo-halo (PHP150/order). We ordered the bilao since it would cost less than having single orders. Food was delicious but I think it's a bit pricey. The restaurant ambience is very good and well kept. Will definitely dine in here again in our next visit to Bolinao.

Adora's Restaurant

we tried this carinderia/ resto as it is the most popular in the blogs we've read. their best seller are lomi (50php) and tapsilog (90php) which we ordered for early breakfast. i can say that the price i paid for those are worth it. (not that "babalik-balikan mo taste. just right"
for lunch we ordered sinigang na hipon (150php) and pork bbq (50php each) which we didnt enjoyed.
however since we have eaten breakfast and lunch at adoras we tried another resto the Bolinao grill. try their seafood karekare.

Mangunguna Seafood Bar & Grill

Reviewed By Kit L - New Westminster, Canada

We had dinner here in early February 2017 and the restaurant tried to take advantage of us. We wanted to order a dish of grilled prawns and asked how many prawns that would have and the waitress told us it was good for two people. When we inquired how many "good for two" meant, she came back after an interminable amount of time to tell us that it meant 2 prawns. We complained and said that number of prawns for the price they were asking was highway robbery, she came back to say that actually there were would be three prawns. We said that if that was the case, we were cancelling order and the waitress responded that she couldn't do anything about it since it had already been cooked. We asked to speak to the manager and she came to say that if we cancelled the order, she would just bill our waitress for it. We said that was unacceptable then she called two of her male staff to try to intimidate us. I told her that I would report her to the appropriate authorities for what she was trying to do. We proposed that we would pay for the prawns but at a lesser price, upon which point she backed down and accepted the compromise.
I do not recommend this place and we are definitely not going back there.

The Blue Mikey

Located next to Birdland Beach Club, The Blue Mikey is a full service restaurant, cafe, and bar serving California cuisine, fusion, and Asian dishes. All meals are organic, non-GMO, and preservative and MSG free. It also caters to vegan, vegetarian, paleo, and pescatarian eaters. Though located in the province, the meal and service is what you would expect in a nice Makati eatery but affordable.

I found the Blue Mikey restaurant when I stayed at Birdland Beach Club this June. This place is awesome. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Blue Mikey everyday I was stayed at Birdland, which is pretty convinient because I didnt have to leave the resort at all. The chef Joanna and her staff of cooks were kind and hospitable. My favorite dishes at Blue Mikey are fruit plates and fried fish for breakfast, lechon with sweet and spicy sauce. The bar is stocked with every kind of liquor and beer known to humankind. I enjoyed a beer called Ouvel, which is a Belgian beer. Who woulda thought I could get Belgian beer in the provinces?
The layout of the restaurant is great too. It is an open concept restaurant with all sides open, allowing for warm sea air to waft through. There are multiple large flat screen tvs and Joanna was kind enough to put the Golden State Warriors game on for me when i ate at Blue Mikey. Foodwise the Blue Mikey is the best restaurant in Bolinao. I will definately be eating there again when I make it up to Pangasinan. Cheers, and thank you very much!

Am Strand Resto Grill

This was recommended by our tricycle driver from Birdland Beach Club where we stayed. Maybe he gets commission or a free meal. I was wondering. But it was damn good grub. I guess the restaurant is only a few months old so the owner and his wife who are locals are doing their best to prepare some really fresh seafood for the tourists. We really enjoyed the calamaris and this horned unicorn kind of fish with a leathery skin. The beach location did not hurt either.
