Was here for lunch after visiting the lake . Food was very homely and freshly made. Service was attentive and reasonably fast.

The Mihovc Guesthouse lies right in the heart of the delightful village of Stara Fuzina, just 500 meters away from the magical Lake Bohinj, sacred to the Slovenians. The Guesthouse has stood since 1888, and is now beautifully renovated in the traditional style, so that it stili very much retains its old world charm, and continues to offer wonderful Slovenian hospitality and delicious mountain cuisine using fresh local produce, as well as international dishes, of course ... all served to you by staff in traditional dress! The Guesthouse seats 60 people in the indoors restaurant, and there's ro om for 120 more on the outdoors Terrace ... ideal for hungry and thirsty hikers, fishermen, sight-seers, climbers and ski-ers! Nearby is an Alpine Dairy Farm Museum, and the village straddles a mountain river, boasts great views and is a perfect base for scenic strolIs in nature. Kittens abound in the woodsheds and farmyards nearby, and the sound of cow- bells sets the scene for an idyllic alpine experience! ln the bar, near the old farm-house stove, is a wonderful old retro radio ... a nostalgic reminder of days gone by. The Mihovc Guesthouse welcomes everyone whoseeks the majesty and magic of nature in a tranquil and relaxed environment, and the fabulous hospitality of true Slovenians!
Went there to eat a few days ago while hiking around Triglav park. Wasn't much choice in the area. I had a soup and a schnitzel with fries. Was surprised to find out the side was extra. Food was average. I didn't wait much but apart from this service was pretty bad. Do they treat single customers different? I asked for a table and they showed me to check the end of the restaurant. Table wasn't clean and no napkin on.all the new customers had one. Waited 15 minutes to pay as my waitress had a table of 8 and apparently she was the only one able to bring my bill.

Our restaurant offers typical Slovenian and local food and is also welcoming young families with a playground. We love to give our guests a chance to feel the authentic Slovenian culture. If you want to try fresh and homemade food and drinks we are the place to visit.
I wrote a review a few years ago and praised their hospitality and good food. Over the years things went pretty bad.
Waiters are unfriendly; a particular waitress has really bad hygiene (rotten teeth,..) and can hardly follow the conversation. She looks and acts as if she is on drugs. Not to mention lack of friendliness.
The other thing is the food. Quality is down, while prices went up.
I do not recommend this restaurant anymore. Check out Erlah in Ukanc.

We go to Pri Hrvatu almost every summer. Their house speciality is trout. It's delicius but the portion is more like 250g than the 350g on check list. Portions are overall small and prices are going up every year. Despite that food is really good and the ambient too.

Well if you're looking for value for your money, this is definitely the place to go. I am a big man myself, but eating the large pizza at this place is no option for me. This time we took two pizzas for 3 big eater adults and two children. And we could hardly finish them
The tastes are good, the menu is extensive.
The fact that the place is usually packed, can result in a wait time at times, but that is to be expected, so i wouldn't give them a bad review for that.
overall satisfied customer here.

Restaurant Danica is at the entrance to Campsite Danica, but works as restaurant itself. It offers a lot of local dishes, good barbecue and lovelly desserts.

A'la carte restaurant Zlatovcica. We also organize celebrations, weddings, gala dinners and other social events.
There is very little competition in the area, and as usual this brings along a not convenient relation between foo quality and prices. Confirmed: food was sufficient but prices high.

We went to the restaurant and had a great experience, amazing food and especially had a good time thanks to Marko our waiter, who was extremely professional and welcoming.
BUT, when we went there the next night we encountered a different waiter who immediately told us that we are "way way late" and they are closed since 19:00 and rudely disregarded us. Needless to say that the advertised opening hours are until 21:00 and we got there at 20:15.
This left us with very bitter taste.

Came here twice on rainy evenings in July. First time was OK. Food was good and service was reasonable. The waitresses were friendly and prices were reasonable. English not widely spoken. Iced coffee was nice.
The second time wasn't so good. Waited and waited and waited for service. Being with 2 young and hungry children made it a miserable evening. The waiter is very abrupt. He did not seem to be happy to be working there that evening. I'm sure there are better places to go.
