The restaurant is situated very near to the Balchik Palace and it's one of the popular restaurants in the area.
Went with my wife and ordered one pasta with sea food that had the same taste as carbonara pasta, and one paella that was almost impossible to eat because the shrimps were the tiniest you can find and also with shell. Be careful to the bill, because they tried to rip 3 leva more from us. I don't recommend this place, only if it's your last option.

We have visited this restaurant for the last six summers and often several times each holiday and have always been very satisfied with the service (they even recognise us when we turn up and give us a warm welcome) and the food is very well prepared. This year we particularly enjoyed their grilled salmon - delicious. We have eaten both lunches and evening meals at this restaurant. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Good food, good service. Lovely setting.
My one tiny observation would be that the staff please wait until we finish our food before taking the plates away! This seems to be a common theme in Bulgaria for some odd reason.
We had 2 plates on the table with food on them and the staff whisked them away before we had finished.
We will go back as the good was great.

The location is very nice arranged nearby the seaside with a great view. The food is good, tasty and served in generous portions for decent prices. The dishes seems to be cooked on spot, probably this justify the long waiting time inspite the restaurant was almost empty.
I tried traditional Bulgarian tarator cold soup and chicken sache both new for me but incredible tasty.
Waiters reactivity would be an improvement point.
Overall a nice experience.

We came across this intimate restaurant almost 11 years ago during a very romantic wedding one of our friends chose to celebrate there. It was so unforgettable for us that almost every year since then we try to visit the serene and most beautiful little Balcik town and this restaurant.
We warmly recommend the mussels in garlic sauce! It' s simply divine!
The restaurant is quite small but each guest is charmed by the surrounding view of the delicate yet royal castle of Queen Mary of Romania. ( A true and fascinating piece of history).
We were bewitched by this place( palace, palace Gardens, the restaurant and the wineries ) and the flavour of the authentic dishes.

After 30 minutes of waiting i have CALLED the waiter to pick the order. Instead of apologies and food we received the news that the restaurant it's overbooked and it will take a while untill we will eat, this in spite of the fact that we asked for the restaurant disponibility before taking seat at the table. Meanwhile the customers that were seated at next table and came at the same time were already eating. The worst part i think it was that the waiter was actually the owner !

We went here once for lunch and once for dinner, and both visits were very good. You mainly get traditional Bulgarian food and it's real tasty. We tried grilled meats, moussaka, salads and the stuffed wineleafs and enjoyed it all. The service is good and you get the food quite quick. We would definitely recommend this to others; It's so worth the walk even uphills!

We were there with family and my husband ordered pork ribs. They were raw and when we complained about it they returned the same portion with a comment: "now it's well done". And it was pork! He didn't eat it after all but no one asked why or how they could make it up to us. Do not go there.

Staff was very kind, food was excellent, prices reasonable. Place was full so services got little longer (perception of time was affected by the level of our hunger:)
All in all we were surprisingly satisfied, even kids ate their portions which is not usualy the case
