Balasore or Baleswar is a city in the state of Odisha, about 194 kilometres (121 mi) north of the State capital Bhubaneswar, in eastern India. It is the administrative headquarters of Balasore district. It is best known for Chandipur beach. It is also the site of the Indian Ballistic Missile Defense Program's Integrated Test Range, located 18 km. south of Balasore. The Defence Research and Development Organisation developed many different missiles such as Nag, Brahmos, Agni Missile among others here. This is where famous freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee also known as Bagha Jatin got injured and died fighting the British. The spoken language in Balasore is Odia. It is the biggest city of North Odisha.

It one of the oldest hotels in Balasore.During 90s it was famous for its restaurant and food.However in Balasore there are not many quality restaurants.In Swarnachuda restaurant the food and service is not that bad.

The hotel is located on the main road and the ambiance is very good. They offer buffet and A LA Carte menu and Punjabi Thali. The taste is good and the service is excellent. It is worth the money and worth visiting to experience.

They serve good quality Chinese dishes. You will get very similar kind of taste as that of Kolkata Chinese restaurants. I enjoyed the food and the services as well. Do give a try and you will be very much satisfied.

I recently visited in chandipur,and it was far away to arpita beach resort. Foods quality was good and its totally homemade and delicious. Overall excellent quality and price was affordable,not too much high.

I vesited this Gt Restura on 12th december with my family. The food and service was awsome. It located on NH-60(16) near jaleswar. The location and ambience also very good.
