Two colleagues and I ate at this rustic restaurant tonight. It was no.1 on trip advisor and rightly deserved this. The manager/owner? was very helpful, spoke English and explained the menu to us in English. The food was well presented and not too heavy yet very tasty. €120 for 3 x 3 courses with a bottle of wine between us and a beer each.

The restaurant window is not that inviting from the street. Inside the restaurant has a delightful interior and out the back a wonderful beer-garden. Slight problems with the waiters as some didn't seem to understand German, perhaps providing an Italian experience! The mixed antipasta entrée was a good. But the mains were disappointing - vegetables over-cooked, físh swimming in oil, drearily plated. Good wines. Grappa on the house was a dream.

Fast, good, spicy, restaurant has nice design and good Spanish food, if you like spicy go. Is a little noisy expecially when is full, not good for romantic dinner but great with friends.

Spending a couple of days in Bad Salzuflen we had a little time to look around the town. We came across Zum Salzsieder and thought that it look worth a try. More of a pub than a bar with excellent beer, the dark Alt beer was especially good, we went in and asked if they were still serving food.
A very helpful lady who spoke perfect English brought us English menus and our drinks. My wife had cold sirloin with fried potatoes and I had the miked platter of meats and cheeses both really good leaving room for apple strudel for me and a pancake for madam.
Clearly we were impressed as we returned for more the following evening. We were the last to leave but there was no pressure to kick us out as there can be in some places where staff are clearing up around you.
What does puzzle us is why it was so quiet? Good value when compared to others in the town, very friendly and helpful staff, good food and good beer, perhaps it's is busy earlier in the day?
Whatever the reason it's quiet there is every reason to visit Zum Salzsieder if you are in Bad Sulzuflen and sample traditional food served well.

that night we could not sleep because of our stomacs.

Very rubbish and deppressif people working there. Same psikopat really. If you try to give some answer, they can kill you. Dangerous. Please becareful. Before search restaurant and want to go sweet place first of all restaurant employees and owners must good and quality also educate. That new Munzur you can not find respect for customer. Also not so tasty food. Many CHEMICAL inside food. Even in Chicken kebap many additive. Old Munzur was really good. Pity that young generation boss in Munzur broked all tasty food and psycology of customer.

The staff were friendly. The service was fast & efficient & the food was fantastic. A large meal & 2 big bears cost less than 20 Euro. Perfect!

We had a week here which we really enjoyed. The facilities in our apartment included a small kitchen, bathroom, single bedroom with the double/twin bed in lounge. The location was excellent, right in the centre of town
Car parking for a week in the local multi storey was €15, good value.
The only complaint we had was the twin beds comprising the double were very small. Otherwise highly recommended!
