A peaceful town on the northern coast of Morocco, Asilah is a tranquil and beautiful destination on the Atlantic Coast. Offering a refuge from the nearby bustling cities of Tangier and Tetouan, Asilah features deserted, quiet beaches and a relaxing atmosphere. The town has Mediterranean-influenced buildings, including whitewashed houses with blue accents on walls and doors. The array of houses decorated with paintings highlights the island's reputation as an artists' hangout.

Select some pastry to be served with your coffee, sit at a table outside and enjoy the scene. The middle school is just down the street, so that herd of teenagers is just the kids going home for lunch at noon. Not to worry.

Casa Garcia is a really great seafood restaurant. More on the high end but full of local people enjoying good seafood there. Really fresh seafood and the variety is good. The langoustine and Palamos are of the best quality. And the fish is so fresh. The price maybe high in Morocco but it’s really worthy for the quality.

Enjoy in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere of an varied menu. A new look to the traditional Moroccan cuisine
Very delicious and filling. The Moroccan dinner was amazingly unique, even the kids loved it! We loved it so much that we were sorry that we were so full that we couldn’t eat everything. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with precious blue and gold furniture. We all loved the style because it was very unique and gorgeous. The food made you want to jump with joy and the decorations made you want to have such a gorgeous restaurant for yourself! We loved it!

Perle continues to be a great place to have a drink and dinner. It is a friendly and fun place to spend time in Asilah.
The staff are some of the friendliest you have met and will remember you by name after a few visits. The food is all excellent and prepared well. It is a clean, friendly and overall great place to spend some time.

We were party of four including two teenagers traveling to Morocco from United states. The food was excellent. We felt at home even we could speak to mom (the owner) who was cooking the meals. I recommend to any Americans traveling to that part the world to try the food. Do not go to fancy ones near by because they charge you arm and hammer.

We discovered Dar Al Maghrebia by accident, looking for another restaurant, but it turned out to be a good choice. Especially the pastilla was very good and tasty and the same counts for the Moroccan salad. The tajines were a bit mediocre, not bad but also not outstanding. The cheese cigars were a bit disappointing, certainly to expensive for what you get. The rest was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly!

We had a great meal here -- fresh grilled sole, octopus, prawns + salads and delicious watermelon to end. The place is right on the street running along the ocean and must be very crowded during the summer. But we almost had it to ourselves. The waiter was very nice and funny and spoke good, colloquial English. Would definitely recommend. This is not a touristy place -- only natives there when we were there!

This French restaurant was a recommendation and is a real find. Despite there being around 5 rather good restaurants in this lovely holiday town, La Perla is outstanding in all senses. Easily as good as La Fabrique, (the best French restaurant in Tangier) and quite the best place to eat in Asilah. We had dinner (rather early - they open at 7 and we took advantage) and there were no other guests. Even so, the entire menu was available, and the staff welcoming, warm without being intrusive, and the service discreet, prompt and extremely kind. A three course meal with wine came out around 35€ per head for three of us; we had outstanding food. The main course duck that I had was one of the best (and best-decorated) dishes I have ever eaten. The chocolate desert was orgasmic. Truly, an outstanding meal, and far better than any of the other places we ate during our stay. Worth mentioning, for those who just cross the water to Tangier, than Asilah is just a 45 minute taxi ride from Tangier port. The official price (we checked later) is 200 dirhams, so take care not to accept offers from drivers to take you for 50€!!

Lovely restaurant situated right in front of the beach in Assilah. Both the exterior and interior are beautifully decorated. There is a nice outdoor Seating area, and inside is decorated with art by local artists. The seafood was simply spectacular! Mohammed recommended and arranged a large fish for three in our party and the fourth had fish and chips- delicate fish with light batter. For starters we had an excellent fish soup and calamari as well as anchovies which were all delicious! Topped off with some Casablanca beer and white wine, and then the coffee martini and it was a perfect lunch in a beautiful setting. Has to be the best restaurant in Assilah! Loved it. We also enjoyed chatting with the manager/owner who came over to say hello.

Fish is fresh. The restaurant is unimpressive when looking outside, but the seafood is great. We spent 460dh for 6 persons. Tnx the staff's services, they know so many languages. 鱼很新鲜。这家店从外面看很不起眼,但是走进去就会发现,海鲜很棒。我们六个人花了460迪拉姆。店员的服务也很热情,会很多种语言。
