In the early 1900s, mining engineer C.J. Kingston left his home in Michigan looking for gold in Chile. While he never found it, his search yielded a cattle ranch in Casablanca Valley. Generations later, his descendants are showing the same pioneering spirit in exploring new frontiers in Chilean winemaking. Growing red wine grapes in a valley known for whites, Kingston Family Vineyards has been hailed as Winery of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine.
From the start (driving down the palm-lined road) to the end (relaxing on the beautiful outdoor veranda) our visit to the Kingston Family Vineyard was outstanding! We were greeted by two enthusiastic and adorable guides-Aubrey and Kevin. They lead our wine tasting with lots of...MoreThanks so much for visiting Kingston! It was a pleasure hosting you and showing you around the fields and cellar - so glad you were able to join us. We hope to see you again and hope you enjoy the Old Corral Club!

Bodegas is a small family winery and quite interesting in that some of the wines are produced in clay vessels. According to their information, " Bodegas RE upholds a concept of wines with unique character based on Re-creating, RE-inventing, and Re-vealing ancestral wines, from those made in Biblical times to wines produced in recent centuries". We did not have time to take a tour but called for a reservation just for a wine tasting. They were quite busy prior to our visit so I would advise making a reservation since the wine tasting is located in a smaller area. We bought a Pinotel and a Syranoir which were as unique as the name of the wine. Their gift shop had quality handicrafts.

A Boutique Winery located in the most remote part of Casablanca Valley. Surrounded by hills in a charming landscape produces Sauvignon Blanc at small scale. Visit reservation/ booking needed.
This was the first vineyard that we visited on our day tour of Casablanca Valley - we could very easily have stayed there all day! Judith was an amazing host, telling us all we needed to know about this ‘quirky‘ winery (the owner David is...MoreThanks for your comments which motivate to keep our path. No always an easy decision, but at the end this kind of comments is what keep our motivation high. Cheers!

Relax on a tour through the wineries and enjoy great restaurants in Chile's wine-growing region.
Magnificent Tour..... close to Santiago, beautiful wineries to visit and try a different approach to wine production!
If you are looking for something different go to Bodegas RE .... Very nice concept wines!
Loma Larga Winery is a beautiful place with great wines... Alejandra (Sommelier) is the right person to tour with.
Highly recommended!

We went there to celebrate our daughter’s 4th bday. Got delay on scheduled reservation but still arranged to sit at the balcony.
Had a good meal (nothing expectacular) and excellent wines. They managed to arrange candles for a Bday song and had a great afternoon.
Children were enjoying themselves at the Fountain and open fresh green grass.
Amazing view!
Totally recommend!

This winery is unique as it mostly specializes in white wine (specific to its valley, unlike the more recognized red wine industry in Chile). Staff were very helpful, food was delicious, and the tour was very informative. Highly recommended for a convenient wine tour right outside of Santiago.

Having been to a number of wine regions throughout the world and to another Casablanca vineyard we decided to come here for a wine tasting not the tour which was $10,000 for the classic option and included two wines.Instead we decided to a tasting where you can choose what wines to sample and they retail for between $1000 to $1500 a glass.Much better value than a tour and you can try much more. The wines were all nice that we tried we particularly liked the chardonnay and the view of the vineyards is beautiful from the hill the vineyard is located while you enjoy your selection. The only issue we had was the gentleman that served us was not very helpful when it came to explaining the different wines but overall good experience. Taxi is also about $5000 from Casablanca if anyone is doing a do it yourself wine tour.

Vina Quintay is located in the Casablanca Valley, a coastal plain off the Santiago-Valparaiso highway in Chile's 5th Region. This valley has been internationally considered as the best in Chile for the production of white wines.
We visited Quintay Vineyards as the last of 3 stops in our Casablanca wine tour with 'Uncorked Wine tours' from Santiago. This was the place we stopped in which to have our lunch - which was successfully paired with matching wines. I enjoyed our meal and the wines immensely.
The tour itself of the winery wasn't particularly impressive. Although I appreciated the ability to get wine straight from the steel barrels into the glass this winery had a much higher production than others in the region and this produced a much less intimate experience.

This is an amazing winery, the tour was excellent and finished in a beautiful tasting room. We had a magnificent lunch on the patio, you do need a reservation. It was very busy, a beautiful day. We purchased the Carmenere and Pinot Noir. Really worth the drive and time.

An enjoyable experience for one who enjoys both horses, wine, music, and good food. This was part of our excursion after our cruise which ended at the airport in Santiago. A very nice ranch and horse show before our very nice lunch. Excellent steak with all the extras with lots of wine. Although it was overpriced, it was a very nice experience after our around South American cruise.
