Stretching along the southern side of Italy's Sorrentine Peninsula, the Amalfi coast dazzles with its mysterious grottos, craggy cliffs and shimmering bays. Grab a seat on the sea side of a regional bus to soak up views on the fabled route from artsy Positano to Amalfi. Ravello offers some respite from the crowds, plus the stunning Villa Cimbrone, which overlooks the Bay of Salerno. The historic section of Sorrento has winding streets filled with craftspeople. Capri is only a hydrofoil or ferry ride away.

Partiamo dalla cucina perche crediamo che la qualita delle nostre pietanze sia il fondamentale elemento del nostro ristorante. Il nostro scopo diventa di farvele gustare a casa nostra nel ristorante conosciuto come IL RITROVO.
Of all the places you can eat in Positano, we liked this little haven best. Located in in Nocelle (a town above Positano) this romantic and warm restaurant serves up more than just good food - they bring back the authentic vibe of how you could imagine Positano used to be back in the days of Steinbeck's first visit back in the 1950's.
Starting with a complimentary Processco we tried the bruschetta (and yes it's worth all the fanfare - it's really good) the Steak and a Pasta dish and not a single bite was disappointing. Further, the all of the staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive while giving their guests room to enjoy their meal, their company and the expansive views of the Amalfi coast below. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to return.

Visited this restaurant having read the reviews and was very disappointed.
In a nutshell, there was a limited menu, staff were lovely but I felt the chef must have been watching too many Food Network shows.
As a vegetarian I was expecting, from the reviews, there to be a selection of vegetarian dishes. There was one starter and one main course on the menu. When I asked if this was all, I was informed yes. No offer to do a simple pasta dish with say a tomato sauce or a pesto.
My husband ate seafood and said it was 'nice', the grouper was very good, small potion but tasty.
The meals were beautifully presented but tasted mostly mediocre. Nothing to remember them by except for the lack of food and overly complicated presentation.
Expensive for what it was.
Fantastic wine!

This restaurant was recommended as the best restaurant in Amalfi, he was right. This is a significant step up from the rather disappointingly narrow food choice available in the resort high streets pizza/pasta places of Amalfi and Sorrento, so expect to pay a little more. Highlights are the superb and extensive wine selection, Spaghetti in baking parchment paper with clams, olives, capers, fresh tomatoes and oregano, and the steamed seafood salad.
Run by a local family, we were picked up from Amalfi town by a very pleasant young man, part of the owning family, providing a FREE pickup service, absolutely superb.
I've mentioned some savoury courses but also don't miss one of the fish dish and even more, the sweets made by mama (or was it grand-mama...anyway), delicious!!
The restaurant itself is a delight, the service was warm, friendly, informative and fun.
Pay your money and go there, don't miss it!!

Historical mediterranean family restaurant since 1965, featuring passion, authentic food from local ingredients and warm hospitality
This is the second time we visit a restaurant.
Good location between Praiano and Positano with private parking,
The food in the restaurant is simply amazing, on the one hand traditional Italian and simple and on the other modern and sophisticated.
Without doubt our favorite restaurant in the area.

Located in one of most scenic spots of the coast. This name brings to mind beautiful floral scents and hints ancient. In 2015 and was the start of our project to make this wine bar a small restaurant where revive traditional cuisine, closely linked to the territory; a cuisine made of simple things, but not trivial, strictly fresh ingredients, genuine and mostly seasonal. The menu of fresh seafood, fresh pasta, buffalo mozzarella, salads, grilled meats and vegetables, make this one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Since we are also the best wines Italian, to live up to our vocation of wine bar.
Best dining experience of my entire life. Walking in and feeling the cold A/C engulf you was the first A+. Being greeted like you are a family member was the second. An intimate restaurant, with Seating for approximately only 20 people, it truly feels like...MoreThank you for reviewing! Cheerful evening made by nice people as you were all. We are delighted to have fully satisfied your taste. Sincerely. Greetings from Mario

A delicious meal! A bite/sized flan appetizer. The most delicate ricotta ravioli with a hint of smoked provola and a sensuous, creamy lemon sauce. Chose the chef's platter as a main course although that was an antipasto: a delucious selection of savoury pastries and the crowning glory of fiordilatte plus smoked provola.
There was a choice of veal and artichokes, baccalà chick pea vellouté or a hearty steak.
Always a pleasure to eat here. It's worth leaving the beaten track for.

Thanks to the passion, perseverence and the complete dedication from Salvatore Criscuolo, better known as "O Capo" and his lovely unforgotten wife Teresa, the Polisportiva, renamed in "Le Bonta del Capo" is today one of the most popular and appreciated restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. Located in a privileged position, the location appears to be disputed between the intensiv blue of the sea and the brightness of the sky, nestled between lush harmonies of terraced olive groves, vineyards and lemontrees. On the Terrace of Donna Teresa, where you have during the sunset the unique feeling to be untited with the horizon, where a deep red paint the nearby island of "Li Galli", directly in front of the "Faraglioni" of the flirtatious Capri, here you will find you enjoying the delicious regional cuisine accompanied by the finest wines of the coast of Amalfi and Sorrento. The timeless pizza contribute to give you a greater sense of being welcome and of the hospitality of Naples. As a reward for your appearance, you will be certainly attracted by the nearby "Punta Vreca", a breathtaking viewpoint in form of a ship overtopped with the tower "Capo del Conca", a natural ancient harbour, a defense post with vice-regal watchtower, designed to curb the invasions of the pirates from the seaside. Surely you do not pass unnoticed a quiet harmonious way in the nearby of the restaurant, which is called "Cinque Essence", meaning for San Alfonso Maria de' Liguori, who named this way during his walks from the monastery Santa Rosa. The monastery is a holy place and the birthplace of the famous and popular puff pastry cake Santa Rosa. Surrounded by olive, carob, pomegranate, grapes and lemon the bishop was inspired to call it "Cinque Essence". For those who love the sport, there is above the restaurant the possibility to use one of the two multi-purpose courts with artifical turf for football, tennis or volleyball. Also with a playground and entertainment games for the smaller of us. We are waiting for you, here in Conca dei Marini, where we have "In each window the sun and out each window the sea.
Daniele di Palma with with Wine Tour Amalfi Coast arranged a most special afternoon with Chef Fiore for us. Chef guided us through a tour of his personal vineyard and lemon garden. He then walked with us to his restaurant and while sampling the grapes we had just picked reviewed some of the history of the area. It was truly like a dream! Once there he conducted a Limoncello making class for us! It was so much fun and gave us confidence to try it at home! This was all followed by a divine meal with an artful presentation, wonderful wine and a view that can't be matched anywhere else. Chef Fiore is warm, humorous and has a fantastic presence. He truly cares about his customers, the restaurant and his community. I highly recommend you put this on your list of "must do's" when you are in the Amalfi area. You will enjoy the beautiful drive to Conca dei Marini. It was certainly our favorite day on the coast. Many thanks to Chef Fiore and Daniele for making this an unforgettable experience for us!

Family bussiness with traditional seafood and only local product. Terrace with seaview . Typicl view of the amalfi coast. For those seeking quiet, relaxation and good food. Welcome to Euroconca.
Our driver suggested this place for lunch on the way as it was one of his favourites and frequented by locals mostly.
They have an upper Terrace with a wonderful view over the sea.
Unhurried, pleasant service. Good choice of dishes and drinks.
The price wasn't extortionate either.

We spent 3 days at Agriturismo Mare e Monti. They have a very beautiful Tarrace where you can enjoy the day. Breakfast is great with fresh fruits from the garden. Rooms are comfortable with nice with to the sea. You have also the opportunity to have dinner there. You get dishes with homemade products (cheese, prosciutto, salame, Antipasti etc.) The Kitchen was very good and the hole staff was very polite. We had a wonderful vacation at this farm
PS Many thanks to Silvio he his one of the greates host i´ve ever met.
