Well, there’s not much to say if not that I had the best fish ever. Every thing was absolutely perfect, from the cleanliness to the competence of the waiters. For a “taste of everything” wine excluded we payed around 220 Shekel. Fair enough!

The place is an institution, there is almost always a line of tourists and locals waiting to be seated (you can also get things to go and locals do that often). Hummus here is excellent, they serve multiple varieties, and everything is fresh and high quality. I'd recommend to get several different dishes and share (which we did).. Will definitely come back when in the area..

We start with traditional arab food, generously offered, and then we can appreciate the main course based on recommended fresh fish. Draught beer and wine are of good quality.
We are treated cheerfully and efficiently by the staff upon arrival. We have particularly appreciated the attitude and quality of service provided by both waiters called "Amer" and "Nimer".

what more can we say? We stumbled upon them by chance and staid much longer than planned, enjoying the sun, the nice atmosphere, the surroundings and second helpings:-)

I've been going to Issa's for 37 years. Even now I live outside Israel, I make a pilgrimage to Acco every visit. The hummus is tasty, perfect every time, generous servings, always accompanied by fresh vegetables and pickles and the best soft pitot. The family are lovely, it's cheap, healthy, vegetarian. What else could you possibly ask for in life?

A hole-hole-in-the-wall shop in the turkish bazaar, sets you in an incredible setting to have something to eat or some refreshments after you´ve visited the Crusaders hall.
Great little tapa´s sized dishes and a very good local Indian pale ale.
Would´ve received a 5 star if portions were a bit bigger.
Nevertheless worrh visiting.
