Customers are kindly requested to book us at least a day before so that we can give them all our attention. If however, they are short on time, they can still contact us and we will do our best to accommodate them the best way we can. All wine tasting sessions are conducted in the afternoon. During winter and mid season tours are conducted at 3.15Pm and when the hot season starts vineyard tours are done at a later time. It is our policy that when the weather permits all wine tasting sessions are conducted at the vineyards at Gharb. Further details will be provided once booking is confirmed.

Really enjoyed our visit to Tal-Massar. The place is situated in a quite picturesque area in the Gozitan countryside. The winery and it's owners are very genuine, knowledgeable and kind! The tour consisted of a tour of the vineyards, followed by tasting of their 4 wines with nibbles to compliment the wines. The wines are of very high quality and reasonably priced for the quality, a reflection of the great knowledge and dedication that the owners have.
All 4 of us loved the visit and would love to do it again in the near future. Highly recommended!!
Being Maltese, I really do wish this winery the very best and I'm happy that their great work is finally being recognised and will soon be more widely distributed across the island!

I walked from the main road to the shrine and my I could not have predicted the most magnificent vista that was to await me in the distance. It reflected very powerfully the beauty of the Creator. On coming towards the shrine there is a beautifully tiled area and surrounding this are most marvellous frescos in four sets of five depicting the different mysteries of the rosary. Also in the square is a beautiful life size statue of Karmni Grima the good lady who had the visions and locutions of our Lord to whom so much is attributed. There is a little book that has been reprinted on her life that is worth Reading for the beauty of its simplicity.
On entering the Basilica there is a warmth and peace that welcomes you which also speaks saying 'you are not alone'. Moving through the Basilica there is a 'shrine' of memorabilia of the many cures attributed to Our Lady. It is an incredible sight especially on seeing all the little children who have been healed down through the years.
The shrine is situated about 2O minutes on the bus from Victorria . The buses are roughly every hour in winter. Would that I could have stayed longer.
The sacrament of Confession is celebrated daily. There is an English Mass celebrated on first Friday of every month at 5.30pm Deo Gratias.

Driving past the craft centre, decided to stop off. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and it is closed. Why are the gates wide open? Why are the signs outside advertising the non-events?
And no it wasn't just me, many other cars stopped, people got out, walked around, before coming to the same conclusion. If you want the tourists money then make the effort!
I could have gone back the nextday as we were passing but preferred not to.

It is a lovely walk down the paved road of the Wied il Mielah valley to the cliff where you can see the Window. It is difficult to get a good view of it especially now that the stairs have been blocked off as a Health and Safety measure. As part of experiencing the natural wonder and beauty of Gozo it is worth seeing.

It is a private-owned museum hosted in an 18th-century village house.
Historic objects associated with Gozo’s traditional trades, crafts and pass times are what are exhibited out here and it reminded me of similar I see in villages in Cyprus.
On the whole the island of Gozo reminded me of my country and I loved it. I plan to return of course but this time count in some days to spend them at Gozo as well.
From milling to printing, carpentry to wine-making, fishing to smithing, the museum offers an insight into Gozo’s traditions and a glimpse of everyday life in the distant and not-so-distant past.

Gozo has SO many churches to explore and appreciate but this is one of our favourites. The external facade is absolutely beautiful and the interior well worth seeing. It was build between 1699 and 1729 and was consecrated in 1755. It now holds the status of minor Basilica. There is a small elegant square in front of the church and Gharb has several cafes and places to stop if you are visiting.

The chapel is set in the middle of nowhere and our sat nav took us on sons very scarily narrow roads, not for large cars or unconfident drivers! Disappointed to find the chapel closed.

Lotus is set in a lovely old traditional building which provides the perfect setting for this beautiful health and wellbeing centre open for all. There is a large diverse library of esoteric books, a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, different therapies always on offer, fascinating workshops and themed events. Salvina's restaurant, next door, is an added bonus for refreshments or meals in the lovely courtyard garden and there is even rental accommodation in two apartments that are also part of the same building.
