What a wonderful community church. The made us feel very welcome during the Sunday mass. There was visitors from all around the world in attendance and everyone was made to feel a part of their service. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to get a shuttle from our resort.

Located on Negril's West End, these dramatic and soaring cliffs were used as a backdrop for the James Bond film "Thunderball."
I did a cliff dive at Rick's bar. Just remember to take all your jewelry off and all the money out of your pocket. I ended up donating $150 to the local kids and the ocean because I didn't. Good time there

We were at the Original Mayfield falls, which I didn’t realize there’s another company that runs tours from the other side of the river as well. The Rasta village that is referred to and shown in some of the pictures is not at the “original” falls.
After walking down the long hill from the parking lot, we paid our entrance fees and we immediately asked if we wanted to order lunch (it was about 10:30 am). We asked if we could wait until after we did the falls to decide but were told we had to decide before we left so it could be prepared. A bit odd but okay, we ordered lunch, which was a bit expensive but we figured there weren’t many other options nearby.
We were paired with a guide who was friendly and very helpful, especially with my parents who had some difficulty navigating some sections of the falls. About half way through the tour though, he began to talk about his tip to the point it was distracting from our enjoyment.
The falls are small but pretty and it’s fun to go through but I would say not nearly as much fun as the Blue Hole/Fern Gully falls. The meal was okay but nothing special. The climb back up the hill to the parking lot was not fun!
Overall it was an enjoyable experience but I would not recommend the lunch and hopefully your guide won’t harass you too much for a large tip (but be prepared!)

Pirates once haunted this seven-mile stretch of golden sand beach, now ruled by pleasure-seeking beach bums and sun-worshipers.
Negril 7 mile beach is stunning, with white sands and beautiful clear waters. Many water sports to do on this beach, also cruises along the 7 mile beach for approx 20 US dollars. It is like a little piece of paradise.

Have stayed at hotels on seven mile beach in Negril on numerous occasion. This was first time staying on Bloody Bay.Was fantastic! As nice as 7 mile but quieter with fewer resorts there.Great beach for swimming no matter the weather. Also fewer beach pedlars which was a bonus. Will stay on Bloody Bay again on next visit to Negril

Well we weren’t very happy with our hotel and there rules and lack of service sooo!
We decided to venture out to find something positive and we found it!!! Half Moon Beach was just 10-12 mins up the road and I must say we found a Gem here.
The Owners of this private beach were so friendly and speaking with the few others that were there was very pleasant.
Very tranquil and clean beach with beautiful clear water. The place is surrounded by a nice reef which can be snorkeled easily.
Also build on the little island there is a makeshift tiny restaurant. For $5 you jump in this little boat driven by The pirate Calico Jack who cooks you up a BBQ Lunch. This is a must see place as well won’t forget our time there. We liked it so much we went back again before we left.
Highly recommend:)

Private tropical house-garden (1/4 acre) with an abundance of exotic plants and flowers - a natural habitat for Jamaica's unique hummingbirds - no nets, no cages - We can accommodate up to 6 visitors for one session (60min) - Reservation required For more details please visit our homepage
We arrived in the morning and were shown around the beautiful Gardens. Our guide was knowledgeable - we learned some pretty cool stuff about the birds. The Gardens are small but well maintained and absolutely beautiful, but nothing can compare to the thrill of seeing those hummingbirds up close. We even got to chat with Barney himself...a very pleasant man who clearly loves what he does. We will be back next year!

Our group of 12 hired Famous Vincent (whom we strongly recommend) for a snorkel trip and lunch at Booby Cay Island. The snorkeling was amazing - as good or better than the USVI. Lunch at Booby Cay was grilled lobster and Red Stripe. I believe they had water and chicken available, but if you want anything else you should bring it with you. This is an absolutely gorgeous uninhabited island. There is some rustic Seating and plenty of shade. The snorkeling around the island is pretty good, but not near as good as that you can access only by boat/ with a guide. Very important to understand that you will need cash for the food, drinks, and tips.
