Boat tour
Very easy to purchase ticket for E10 for a one-hour comfortable boat ride with commentary in three languages, stopping a couple of times to point out interesting things and people. Great assortment of birds in their natural habitat. Prawns and wine included.

Kanela Sailing School is (a sailing school) located in Isla Canela Beach and Punta del Moral (Ayamonte, Huelva) Andalusia, and has been operating since 2002. The school is in a unique setting in for water activities, as it is on a shallow water beach, sheltered from currents and waves by a natural sand barrier.
Kanela Sailing School has got two spots which are both pretty to start learning to sail and also to advance new skills and moves!!! You can practice surf, catamaran, kitesurf, windsurf.... Personally I recommend it to everyone who is going to travel through the area of Portugal, Huelva and Cadiz.

Marina Isla Canela is a Marina situated in the benchmark composed of "Costa de la Luz" the "Algarve" and the Guadiana River in the southwest Andalusian Corner. Exactly in the Carreras river mouth, inside the natural spot of Isla Canela. This situation offers an unbeatable cover against adverse meteo, giving a perfect shelter to all the boats in the Marina.
Not much going on but you can catch a land train that takes you around the area for a small fee. I think you can get a boat over to the other island but we didn't try this. I thought there was bike hire at the marina but it has closed down.

We played the course many times during our 6 week stay at Canela Beach & enjoyed it very much. The service & assistance given by the Hotel/Reception staff just gets better each time we visit. Nothing is too much trouble, even though the guests & golfers are from most of Northern Europe. The course was being improved during our stay, but the work didn't interfere with our pleasure. The workers were very considerate, making sure they didn't slow anyone down. They even gave us golf balls they'd found whilst working. The course was in good condition with most of the greens perfect. The old clubhouse is now used for "after golf" food & drink, a warm welcome awaits you!
The Tapas & meals are wonderful, don't miss out on the opportunity. All in all, a nice course with very nice people running it.

A lovely beach that is incredibly popular with the locals. Even at 8pm there are still people arriving on the beach. Many pitch up with umbrellas and chairs to sit and enjoy the sun. We walked down the beach many times in the evening as the sun went down, watching the kite surfers. I've never seen a beach so busy late in the evening like this one. It had a really nice, chilled out atmosphere to it.
