The zoo is reeeeally big, take your comfortable shoes! I loved the fact that animals have huge spaces. There are so many things to do and so many animals to see i'd say one day is not even enough. Great place for families, children absolutely adore this zoo.
The zoo's social media channels are very good, if you want to check out the place online first you should go to instagram or facebook and you'll see how amazing this place is. Their website is also great.
When I was a child and lived in Sosto, we used to go there once in every year and we saw exactly the same things in every year. Now, whenever I go back, it is amazing to see all of the new things and animals, it is like they are constantly developing the place.
Highly recommend

I have been to many Hungarian aqua parks, but this one is definitely the best so far. I have been there in July for the first time, between Monday - Friday, and it was absolutely not overcrowded, opposite to other aqua parks I have been to. There is plenty of space to place your blanket near pool, plenty of trees, so you can hide from sun, if you want to. Plenty of food stands, almost no queues, also pools are not full of people, because there are many to choose from. I was really surprised, that it is possible to be this way. Much better then Hajduszoboslo or Tiszaujvaros by my opinion.
In standard ticket, you have included outside and inside pools and all sliders, outside and inside, so you can enjoy your stay without choosing, where you can or cannot go or overpaying the entry just to use one slide (as it is in Hajduszoboslo).

Sostogyogyfudo, a fashionable and popular spa and leisure center since the nineteenth century, is only five kilometers from the center of Nyiregyhaza. Built in 1971, the Sosto Village Museum, located near the spa in the north-western corner of the country is the only open air ethnographic museum in Eastern Hungary.
We got free entrance ticket in the hotel where we stay for 3 nights. Nice, calm, really big surprise for us. We felt we are back in the old time and this place is not a museum, it is a living place. Go and enjoy!

The shopping centre fits for disabled visitors as well, escalators, elevators and wide corridors make your stay more convenient. Access – easy as possible KORZÓ Shopping Centre can be approached by car or public transport from the Vay Ádám ringroad and from the downtown there is also an easy access coming through the pedestrian zone of Dózsa György street. Location and investment The project is located in the historical city centre in the neighbourhood of the County Hall, the City Hall and the House of Culture. Once the plot was divided by the Dózsa György street into two squares. The western part is called Jókai square, the eastern part Nagy Imre square. The project targeted to unify the two places into one object and function. According to the concept the two building parts are connected by a generous bridge of more levels. The architectural form created an imposant, high level building complex. In the basement two parking levels have been built where 640 parking lots are available. The investor created a new pedestrian zone and main square of Nyíregyháza full of Fountains, modern street furniture and floodlight designed by Tér-Team Ltd. The planning and design on behalf of the investor was made by Bán Ferenc, Ybl and Kossuth price awarded architect and the Architect Office of „A-Studio 90".
While it's nice to take a break from the vast array of second-hand stores they have scattered about in Nyiregyhaza - the Korzo really doesn't offer that much in the way of exciting retail. There are only a handful of stores in both buildings (two buildings adjoined with an outdoor walkway upstairs), and most of them are pretty lame, quite honestly. There is an electronic store which is pretty pathetic looking; there are a few nice clothing stores, which are fun to look at but never have sales: Promod, Orsay and Camaïeu. They do have Triumph which is a great asset to the mall, and they have a few other stores which probably bring in some good financial help. The food court is a joke, with literally only two choices - all the others that long ago stood have since then gone out of business.
The only useful shop in the whole "mall" is the Spar grocery store. It generates a great deal of customers daily and hourly, and they must be the main reason the mall is still running. There is also a DM drug store, and a Costa Coffee, which seems to also get regular amounts of business even considering its substantial cost. With a couple of shoe stores, and a dance studio upstairs, there's really not much else I haven't already listed.
It is a terrific location being in the heart of the city center, and there's no question that if you need something in a hurry and you know for a fact the Korzo has it, then it's a great convenience. Otherwise, stick to the Plaza which is a bit of a jaunt from the center, but still worth it as far as selection goes.

If you're expecting a lot - don't. This is not on par with other malls by western standards. It's by far the best mall in Nyiregyhaza, though, as they have actually useful shops which is more than I can say for the Korzo which is in the center. The Plaza sits out a ways, and you need either a bus or car to get there. Unless you're like me, and like walking a good thirty minutes at a time (from the center) or further, depending on where you're coming from. It's an adequate mall, and if you're just killing time and have nothing in particular to shop for then you don't need much time. They offer a nice cinema on the top floor, there was at one time (though I don't think it's still there anymore) a bowling ally, and there are a variety of clothing stores, including the newest addition as of a couple of years ago: H&M. This being something that has really fueled the influx of customers in the last year or two.
The Plaza, again, is really great by Hungarian standards (particularly of eastern Hungarian standards) - but is certainly not to be compared to any mall in Budapest or western European countries. It's small in most senses, with only two levels, and limited amounts of stores. Clothing is mostly what they cater to, though you can find toy stores, shoes, and an adequate food court on the top level.
Recommended to those living in the area or tourists who are curious.

If you only want a good coffee or a relaxed evening with your friends or your family, we look forward to welcoming you. You can be your own chef! You could have a barbecue or stew with a little talk and a few drink. Do you like a karaoke party with your buddies? It's your place then.
