Situated adjacent to the Western Express Highway, the place is frequented by both local residents as well as people from surrounding suburbs. Has a number of shops and branded stores selling high end products,,wish they had variety in the value/not too expensive product ranges as well.
Food court at the top is also a vibrant place with lots of options.

I simple love Aarey colony which is around 4000 acres of greenery situated at Goregaon east, in the heart of Mumbai suburbs. One can see thousands of morning walkers in this only Green patch left in Mumbai - Concrete jungle to breathe fresh air. It has a beautiful small lake, artificial, made with collected rain water and is used for boating. The Forests are dense & give you a country side feeling.

This place is inside the film city gates in Goregaon, Mumbai. The Conservation Education Centre is a reserve area of the forest protected and nurtured by the Bombay Natural History Society. They have wonderful camps for children in the summer and X'Mas breaks. Besides there are many other nature trails conducted throughout the year educating the public about various flora, fauna and eco-friendly living methods. You can visit their site for further information: http://bnhs.org/bnhs/education/outdoor-education/mumbai-cec-nature-camps. You need prior permission before entering this area. Found the experience here to be more real than at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
