Zhengzhou is a Chinese city and the provincial capital of Henan Province in Central China. It is one of the Chinese Eight Central Cities, which also serves as the political, economic, technological, and educational center of the province, as well as a major transportation hub of China (highway, railway, aviation, communication). The Great Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area (including Zhengzhou, Kaifeng) is the kernel of Chinese Central Plains Economic Region .

This is an interesting museum, but nothing too special. 15 minutes and you're done, so worth visiting when you're passing, but less for a special trip

Although it is the memorial of the Erqi Strike (二七大罢工), which occurred on February 7, 1923, the building looks too modern. I would rate it a "one star" out of a scale of 1-5.

it's just another amusement park really, nothing special. but it's the biggest one in the area, and frankly speaking my review could be bias since I'm a grown up that went there myself and I'd say universal studios or Disneyland is better in comparison, but then again, this is cheaper, and if you have family with young children, this would be s great place to spend your weekend at.

Although relatively small and certainly showing its age, this is still a truly beautiful spot close to the larger Confuciuan Temple. There are several temples to see in this compact area and although photography inside is prohibited, nobody seemed to mind when I took a couple of shots. Seemed to be a lot of locals just hanging and chatting, which made for a nice atmosphere.

Invited with friends to drive there. An hour from town. The water was popular with many people. I 4WD Jeep invited us Laowai (foreigners) to join in the river crossing. A tight squeeze but fun. Lunch on a boat moored to the river's edge, caught a fresh fish from the river. Tasted very muddy as the water dictated. A fun day indeed.

In English, this is Dehua Pedestrian Street, a typical pedestrian shopping street similar to those of major China cities. There are many shopping malls, department stores selling international and local brands. There are also fast food, food stalls and cart vendors selling all sorts of local snacks.
In China cities, I strongly recommend to visit pedestrian shopping streets in the evening. The street buildings are beautifully lit, especially the Erqi tower being the central focus. Broadcast music and promotions enhance the lively atmosphere.
One could feel the life and buzz here. The street was very wide, hence I didn’t feel crowded even though the locals are out in full force.

Kids will love the dinosaur exhibits with replicas of the large fossils found in Henan. There are also exhibits of stunning crystal and calcite formations that showcase Nature's art. Upper floors house a mastodon skeleton and exhibits of minerals found and used in the province. Admission is free but passports must be shown to get the ticket.

The Zhengzhou Aquarium was a pleasant surprise, as I was not expecting much. There is a decent collection of sea life. You must experience the Russian Mermaid Show and the Sea lion Shows. Both were excellent. The latter had the biggest sea lion that I have ever seen! Plan around 1.5 - 2 hours for the entire experience.
