The owner of this bookshop was very welcoming and helpful. He speaks English and French as well as Spanish!
The bookshop is big and the shelves are all full, lots of choice especially if you speak Spanish
My order was placed and as promised, he emailed me the following day to say my books were ready.
An excellent experience, right in the middle of Martinez, only 1 minute from the station.

Visiting Alparamis is entering a magic place, a unique place where you and your family will always find what you need to celebrate all traditions together and millions of beautiful presents and decoration products. You can also enjoy the spectacular plays and the delicious food of Alpastel Pâtisserie.
It's a nice shop, like any big shop in US, with decoration (mostrly christmas, but every ocassion as well), and home decoration set (lamps, dishes, etc, etc).
severals times a year host perfomance by local celebrities, mostly for kids, and of course, host a Santa Claus every December.

Stopped here prior to our Tigre Delta tour. Built on the site of a 1706 chapel opened by the city's founder, Captain Domingo de Acassuso, the Cathedral was designed by French architects Dunant and Paquin, and inaugurated on July 14, 1898. It is constructed in neogothic style and it stands 68 m tall. Although bathed in brilliant Sunshine externally, the interior was dark and gloomy and not conducive to photography without flash. Interesting Cathedral but not a "must see".

This is kinda hidden bar, just a door from outside. Once you are in the atmosphere is good, if not too crowdy. I went in winter, after a rainy day and early, no tables left, only in the bar we could sit which was nice to get the order fast and see the bartender preparing the cocktails.
And here we got to the best of the place, the cocktails: a very complete menu, the classics, some trendy ones, well prepared and at good price. If you are a whisky lover, then you are at the right place with many different labels not usually easy to find in Argentina.
So if anything of the above is what you are looking for, can't miss this place.

We booked a tour on the Sturla Boat Ride of the Tigre Delta. We were picked up at our hotel with a tourist bus, comfortable. Before reaching the pier we stopped at Quinta Los Ombues, an old colonial house. The home furnishings were from the colonial era. The Gardens were beautiful with a view of the River Plate. The guide was informative explaining life in colonial times. Worth a visit on the way to Tigre. No entrance fee.

Típica plaza de ciudad del interior. Ubicada en el centro, frente a la Municipalidad. Se destaca por tener un retoño del Pino de San Lorenzo. Ideal para un descanso.
