At Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures, You'll have the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving your own dog sled! Live the dream of feeling the raw power of Alaskan Huskies pulling the sled through the Canadian Winter Wonderland that is the back country of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort, just a short drive from Kamloops, BC. You'll see signs of wildlife on our private trails that wind through the forest. We'll start off by showing you how the dogs live, and then they'll show you how much they love to run!
My wife and myself had a fantastic experience of an afternoon adventure with the dogs. We enjoyed meeting them, helping them get ready, leading us through the fantastic trails and feeding them after their workout - we then met the puppies!
The humans were fantastic too.
Highly recommended.

Whether you come for the diverse ski terrain or for the variety of summer activities, Sun Peaks is a haven for recreational fun in a three-mountain alpine area. Located in the Interior of British Columbia, Sun Peaks boasts Canada’s second largest ski area with 4,270 acres of terrain. Sun Peaks is home to BC’s highest elevation golf course. Guests can explore the alpine with lift-access hiking and world-class mountain biking trails, with opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, Segway tours and horseback riding. Sun Peaks’ vibrant European-style village is nestled at the base of Tod Mountain, Sundance and Mt. Morrisey. The village offers a wide selection of accommodations, restaurants and shopping boutiques.
We visit Sun Peaks couple of time every year. It’s always great. Very kids friendly with lots of activities for them and the rest of the family such as tubing, skating etc....This year the snow was fabulous....powder, powder, powder! Great restaurant and lodging with ski in ski out. Recommend it to all!

Awesome 2nd Canadian resort I've stayed at, Sun Peaks has everything you could need and especially NO CROWDS. The early lift lines are soon dispersed and you will be lucky to wait for more than 5 minutes. There are plenty of choice for all levels long cruisers to steep tree runs. I am already looking to return next year it was that good.

It's lovely for our instructors to get feedback and to know that everyone is enjoying the experience. Hope to show you some more of our beautiful trails in the future.

Well maintained, tight on the front nine and local knowledge will really help. I am a 16 handicap, and the first round I lost about 8 balls and shot close to 100. Second time out I played the shots the course would give me, lost only 3 balls and shot my handicap. A tough but fair little course.

Join your local guide Campbell for a uniquely Canadian experience on one of the mountain lakes surrounding Sun Peaks. Try your hand at catching a few of the hard-fighting wild Rainbow Trout through the ice. Everything from pick up to drop off is provided, door to door transportation, a heated ice fishing tent, a hot beverage and all the fishing gear you need to catch some fish
Campbell is a fantastic guide. Full of personality and information. Fishing on a frozen lake is such a surreal experience for an Australian and thoroughly enjoyable. Campbell has a wealth of information about fishing, hunting and his country as a whole. It was so interesting listening to his experiences and opinions on everything Canada.

Walked in when there wasn't any customers in the place and there was 2 guys behind the sales counter. Neither acnowleged us or asked if they can help. Even staring at one of the guys didn't garner a response.
One guy did smile while renting us a pair of snowshoes though but the cold sales approach at the start had us decide to buy the rest of our gear at another store.

This is a "can't be missed"! The hydromassage is truly blissful. I wanted to go every day. They do have other excellent services that are worth spoiling yourself with. Also have locally made soap which is a wonderful gift/souvenir. Staff I would highly recommend this as a must do if you are in Sun Peaks.

We booked the moonlight smores tour, pretty much the last one of the season. With the time change I would call it more of a sunset tour. It ended up being just my husband and I so it was our own private tour. Heather was our guide and she was great. Knowledgeable friendly and nice. It's a pretty short tour - just 1km to the campsite where the fire gets set up and we roast our marshmallows for the yummy smores. There are some nice views of the city on the way back and we caught a bit of sunset

An all season resort. We spent a week during March break - skiing was amazing - different snow everyday. Kids enjoyed morning ski school. Lots of other activities including tobogganing, tubing, skating and snowshoeing. Many restaurant choices, different types of lodging, some interesting shops - all with their own individual appeal. The Bluebird Market is well stocked with fresh items as well as staples. Liquor store has good hours and a large selection. We will be back in the summer for some terrific hiking.
