We had a great day out, it was a bit cold and windy but sunny. The views are incredible! You can do short or long walks towards Eastbourne, Beachy Head.
There is a café and toilet facilities. There are car parks and the fee was £4.00/all day!
Opposite the country park there is a forest where we had a nice walk too with our dog!
Recommend it!

Monty Don said in his introduction on Gardeners' World, we’ve been across Britain looking at inspiring planting and design and this week are at Driftwood, a small garden by the sea that's full of character
I have visited this garden on several occasions and it is delightful. The owner and creator has made a beautiful tapestry using planting and colour, His hospitality is great and his lunches and wonderful homemade cakes are truly yummy. Anyone looking for inspiration for their own Gardens would love this. Obviously a lovely sunny day is a bonus to sit in one of the little "rooms" and just enjoy the whole garden. It has only one draw back which is accessibility for people with mobility problems, there is a steep driveway and steps to access the Gardens and the paths are narrow because of the hundreds of plants. Otherwise a joy.

Seaford beach is pebbly like Brighton down the coast, but doesn't get as crowded as it's less touristy. There are a couple of small kiosks serving drinks, snacks and cakes - these are both preferred options to the larger cafe in the park across the road. Plenty of parking along the front, with Splash Point at the eastern end and a longer walk to Tide Mills and Newhaven beyond to the west. Lovely to sit and watch the sun go down on a peaceful summer evening, but often bracing in the wind!

Cuckmere Haven Seaford. The Nature Reserve is easiest accessed by two points; South Hill Barn in Seaford or from Eastbourne Road (A259) at Exceat Bridge. Free parking is provided at South Hill Barn, Seaford, the nearest post code is BN25 4JQ. From here is a simply stunning walk down Seaford Head to Cuckmere Valley, overlooking the Seven Sisters Cliffs and river mouth.
We have done many walks here: from Birling gap to Cuckmere haven and the other way to Newhaven. It's an invigorating walk along the Seven Sisters and somehow made exciting by the dynamic changing coastline.
Two caveats: 1) there are innumerable young Asian tourists taking selfies perilously close to the cliffs. This can be quite alarming to see people perched on unstable overhangs, apparently oblivious to any danger.
2) the Cuckmere Inn is a huge disappointment unless you enjoy slow service and lousy overpriced food

From the 2nd of October 207, the museum is closed until further notice because the builders are in to carry out extensive work improving access. This includes a new bridge over the moat, an internal lift between the two floors and ramps inside where there are steps. This work will last approximately 2 months.
This round tower, with a cannon on top, was built as part of England's defences against Napoleon. It is operated by the local historical society-- but was recently closed to repair a roof that has been deemed "as unsafe"!!
However, the views from the Museum make a visit very worthwhile indeed!!

The Coastguard Cottages and the Severn Sisters cliffs are one of the most breathtaking views in the UK. This scene is on of the most visited and photographed views in the UK. Have you taken a #CoastgaurdCottages #Seaford Selfie?
As one proceeds east from the Country Park's parking lot towards the Seven Sisters, a series of "coastguard cottages" emerge down by the seaside. The views of the "ever so white cliffs" from these cottages is simply amazing!! It is also interesting to see the variety and number of birds that have built cliff side nests!!

A delightful tranquil haven at the edge of Seaford. Cupani Garden has won awards for the variety and beauty of the planting. A warm welcome and a peaceful place to wander around the garden and then enjoy a delicious lunch or afternoon tea all home cooked. Extensive Plant, Book and Jam sales. Open on specific dates in June and July and by appointment from May to September. See websites for dates.
We visit the local open Gardens every year & I always look forward to Cupani the most! The first time we visited we were blown away by this hidden gem. It truly is a stunning garden with lots of thoughtful planting, interesting niches, garden ornaments,...MoreThank you so much for your lovely review. We try to provide something new each year to interest returning visitors. Our plant sale area is expanding all the time and I am already propagating for 2018 so we look forward to welcoming you back then.

I hadn't played Seaford Head for years so enjoyed my recent round there.
The new clubhouse is a nice addition and the breakfadts abd coffees we had were fine.
Its good the course has buggies as well now and from what I saw the pro shop was well stocked as well.
The overarching factor on all of this being the very reasonable price for a green fee.

We stayed on the golf course in the Dormy House for one night. The hospitality and welcome were terrific.
The course was in good condition. It was sunny but very windy which made for an interesting round!
The meal in the evening was excellent and the service first class. Would recommend.

On my recent visit there was an exhibition of perhaps 50 interesting and attractive drawings, paintings and textile pieces (applique, embroidery, etc) by two friends, Dilys and Rory (the latter a long-time contraction of her full name), in the U-shaped ground floor gallery which wraps around the double height, stone walled and vaulted crypt (apparently a relic of a mediaeval merchant's house). Having seen the somewhat cryptic (sorry!) signs on the road into Seaford, I was very glad to have stumbled on the building itself (so much so that I went back when in the town again a few days later). From the other reviews it would seem that this venue manages to maintain a high standard of work on exhibition throughout the year, so I will try to visit again when next in the area.
