Being a Catholic, i enjoy going to churches specially the big ones. And this is a BIG one.
Its located near the shopping centers of SCS.
I find it magnificent. Though something was lacking but the place was good. And since im in the city, it was a good place to visit. There were like prayer books in the seats that people can read. But its only in portuguese.

The largest water supply of Santa Cruz do Sul. It's surrounded by a 5.8 km long track, ideal for those who search a tranquil place for walking, running or bike riding.
One of the best spots for outdoor activities in Santa Cruz do Sul. The 5.8 km paved track is excellent for walking, running or bike riding. Is also a good place to watch the sunset.
It offers a parking area, bathroom facilities, free bikes to hire, and a deck for those who want to practice non-motorized water sports.
The lake area is very safe, with full time security, but the surrounding neighbourhood is quite dangerous; I recommend going by car, is safer than going walking or by bike.

The racetrack design is one of the best in south Brazil. The facilities were recently improved, the access was paved and the buildings painted/renewed. I usually go there to the drag strips and track days, so we stay in the pit area. Nothing to complain there. But in the grandstands area, there are still room to improvements, like more bathrooms.
Be prepared: since it is in an open field, in the summer, there are few shadows to hide from the hot sun; in the winter, the wind can be really cold.

This is a place you must visit in this charming city. It is a special place just to take a walk, meet friends or take pictures. The beautiful São João Batista Cathedral is located just a few steps away in the South side of this square.

One of the best beers I've ever drinked, and the price is fair. The owner and producer of the beer is a great person, too, and is always able to help the costumer.
