um restaurante para quando você quer variar da comida mineira. Ambiente moderno e comida leve, com referências ao casal Frida e Diego
Who could expect to find a small and cozy restaurant in an old colonial village of the 18th Century inspired by Mexican food and Frida Kahlo? Ok. Nowadays, Frida could be everywhere. But Penha & Regina, the two owners, started it about two years ago and when you want a break of the tasty traditional Minas Gerais food (abundant in Tiradentes) Casa Asul is your choice! True. Aftwerwards you may have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in the small coffe house right at the corner (different owner, different shop) leaving CasAzul, seated outside.

We gladly came across this restaurant while strolling around the historical downtown in a Saturday morning. Knowing the reviews already and being seduced by the 50% discount in the main course for the second person we made a reservation for lunch.
Everything worked as scheduled, the staff was attentive and the meals were great. Menu is seasonal but both the duck rice, as a local reinvention of the traditional Portuguese dish, and the cured filet, should stay forever. A must have!
Finish your experience with freshly made coffee by the side of a dulce de leche delicacy.

A small, charming and family-managed restaurant outside the city's historic center but still within walking distance from it (nearly 20 minutes). Very good regional Brazilian cuisine served in a fixed-price "all you can eat" buffet style (drinks excluded). The staff was exceptional and always kept checking if you had everything you needed. The price is reasonable and the only downside is that the place does not accept credit or debit cards, so make sure you have enough cash in your pockets.

We went to this place by its high Tripadvisor rating and we can just confirm it! A cozy place with excellent service and delicious pizza, made by a family from the Brazilian state of São Paulo who moved to Tiradentes. The prices are very reasonable - a large pizza (at the time of this writing) was around R$ 60. It was also comforting to see that the place accepts credit cards - many restaurants at Tiradentes don't. We will surely go there again on our next stay at Tiradentes.

Really good quality homemade food in a rustic location. We have been to so many places similar to this and ended up dissappointed. Finally we found one that met expectations! Lovely lemonade, fantastic local dishes, good and friendly service and a nice little playground for the kids.

Set in two houses of the eighteenth century, the famous Rua Direita in Tiradentes. Offers a contemporary architecture with traditional materials executed colonial and baroque. Its gastronomy dialogues with the architecture with contemporary dishes in a new Reading of the Minas Gerais and Brazilian cuisine.
We had dinner yesterday night and we enjoyed the special tasting menu with Minas wines( champagne brut, chardonnay, cabernet franca & muscat)
It was a big surprise me being from Spain the superb quality and perfect execution of all the dishes combined with each wine.
Service, ambience , all in all, SUPERB!!
Congratulations. La Rambla azeite team.

Small and warm welcoming restaurant in the historical center of the beautiful city. Traditional home Italian cuisine with simple but very interesting menu and mouthwatering dishes. Its a little bit pricy but it worth.... When you ask for beer make sure they have enough stock in the fridge... When I asked for second had to change...

Entrepot du Vin is a Winebar and pub, offering more than 350 wine labels, whiskies, beers, spirits and most of the classical cocktails. Opened every day until the last costumer!!!
small place for appetizers and wine. Poor selection of wines and poor service. Do not waste your time or money

UaiThai NOW IN A NEW ADDRESS: Rua Padre Toledo - 157 - combines the exotic taste of Thai cuisine with the delicious food from the state of Minas Gerais, considered one of the most delicious flavours of Brazilian gastronomy. This combination is a result of an intense and constant research by Chef Ricardo Martins, who studied and travel all over Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, and worked with one of the most important Brazilian Chefs, Alex Atala.
Food was average, nothing special, not bad at all, but the price really got us down. Me and my mother shared a fish, supposedly a surubim, but it was most likely a tilápia fillet, for R$75. Extremely pricey for what is offered, a simple food. My father had a sliced beef with veggies, R$65. The restaurant doesn't seem to invest in the space (which is pretty precarious) neither on the ingredients (affordable, mostly veggies). The service was great, though.
A 30% discount would make it ok, but at that cost, certainly will never come back.

We were eager to try the restaurant with the highest rating in Tiradentes. The food was simple and down to earth, yet very delicious dishes with a wide assortment of food dishes from the region. We highly recommend it! We were also impressed with the quality of the service.
