I went over this Rande Bridge on a coach trip from Vigo. The bridge is a cable-stayed design, which spans Vigo Ria. The view from the bridge is great. You can see the Cíes Islands, San Símon island and appreciate the immensity of the Vigo estuary.

it is typical for events, weddings and gatherings as it can host several hundred people. Located on top of a hill, this old fortress is worth to visit and great to organize event there

Adventure Tourism in Rias Baixas. Puenting, Canyoning and Climbing.
Was on vacation with family who had done some canyoning before and were interested in canyoning in Galicia. We signed up for Guias Malouco and needless to say, had a blast on the Rio Cerves. Fredy and David were excellent guides. They both were fun,...MoreThank you Steve! We are really grateful for your review. Fantastic views of the Ria de Vigo, after a nice walk to get up there. On good days it gets very busy, so you'll have to wait before sitting on the bench...

This is a bit of a trek from the city centre and is set in the Parque de Estrellos. The house itself is interesting and there is also a small archaeological museum attached with interesting artefacts disinterred from around the city of Vigo. The park is a pleasant place to walk and we were lucky because the sun was shining. It was a slog up to the Plaza de America where we found a taxi to return us to the city centre.

Carved in three parts, the cruceiro tells the story of Christianity from Adam and Eve to the Crucifixion. The views from the Church grounds over the Ria Aldan are spectacular. The house across the street is open to the public and is worth a visit.

Very interesting small museum that tells the story of the Battle of Rande and has information on local sea-life. It is set in an old seafood cannery. We saw a great documentary on squid and about the famous Rande battle.
Open during the weekend to the general public, during the week Reservations for school trips and similar can be made.
In the museum itself, Exhibitions about 17 century life and shipping are available. Interesting for the whole family.
